Bike across the Golden Gate Bridge - This is a must do if you are in San Francisco. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. They gave us recommendations of where to go and gave us a good briefing before we got our bikes. We biked from the rental shop, down the coast and across the bridge. There is an option to take a ferry back but we decided to bike back.

Deluxe bike rental for the day - When we got there, the staff was super friendly and enthusiastic. They fitted us and showed us a video to navigate the bridge. We rented the bikes for the day which was great value for money. We were free to go around town with the map provided. We loved the Golden Gate Park with bikes, that was a lot of fun. The bikes were comfortable and felt safe.

Relaxing way to experience the city - The bicycles are of excellent quality. We did a tour of 20 miles and the battery was still in perfect condition. You see so much more from the bike. It was really fun to cross the bridge and to drive along the painted ladies and various parks in a relaxing way.

Bike rental and San Francisco Golden Gate risde with Ferry return - Blazing Saddles were the best, very professional. Online booking was a breeze and having the ability to pickup the bikes at our leisure took off the pressure of being tied to a pick up time. We were greeted by a lovely young lady who managed our booking and recommended the ferry on return. We were initially not going to do that but was very good advice. Great location in Fisherman's Wharf bit of a ride to the Golden Gate Bridge. We did regret in not getting the hybrid bikes as some high hills to ride/walk the bikes. Hybrid would have made riding so much easier, but in saying that, doing leg power was a good workout. We chose the Mountain Bike for comfort, very comfy seats, well maintained with a great little bag on the front to store/carry our mobile phones and water bottle. Also came with a little carrier on the rear with a strap to secure things with. We were provided a bike lock which we did use. I would recommend going early as in summer it can get warm and very busy making it more difficult to stop on the bridge. Crossing the bridge was amazing, be warned about the Tour De France cyclists who think they own the path and pedestrians who get in your way but if you go slow no issues. Going around the pylons, I would recommend as we did, get off and walk them around as there are blind corners. The bike lane is for both ways. Once getting to the other side, some great photo opportunities before heading down the hill to Sausalito before deciding on the ferry back to Fisherman's Wharf. Easy ride back to Blazing Saddles for a great bike return. Can't recommend Blazing Saddles high enough as they made the experience so much better. Rental price was good with a helmet included and a little more go for the Hybrid.

Great experience - Great location, competitive price, good bike. The road was great. We rented the bikes through their website for a 20% discount. The only downside is that if you buy your ferry tickets through their website, there is no child fare. So it is better to buy your tickets directly with the ferry.

Bike ride the family will never forget - This was such an amazing trip. The guide was so patient with my daughter who was a little overwhelmed at first. He spent time with the whole group acclimating us to our e-bikes. The remainder of the trip she was always leading the group. He was informative and aware of our group’s needs. The company actually added a guide in training to follow the slower members of our group. It was such a great experience and fully recommended… just be sure if you go during the summer you wear layers! It was cold and windy!

Great cycling if the weather is good - Blazing Saddles were great - great induction, advice, bike fitting etc. The bikes were typical bikes with helmets and locks. We took the route from Fisherman’s Wharf, over the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito. There are some significant inclines that could be tricky for beginners (but it’s ok to get off and walk). My biggest advice would be to select your ride based on weather conditions. We cycled across the bridge in thick fog with a constant wind. ‘Wannabe Professional Cyclists’ are ripping along at a pace making the bridge more of a military survival exercise than a pleasant cycle. Once in Sausalito, relax and enjoy before getting the ferry back. In summary, glad we did it, but the bridge was hairy at times.
