Yosemite Day Trip Worth Remembering - Very comfortable day trip going to and from Yosemite. Driver and tour guide at the same time was super nice. We had very nice family pictures with amazing views in Yosemite as our background, our tour guide was so nice enough to in taking the pictures. The Small Group Yosemite Day Tour was worth the time and money.

Amazing day - Our trip was everything I’d hope for and more. I truly can’t understand any negative comments about this excursion. When doing day trips with other travelers you need to be patient, open minded and easy going. Do that and it will be well worth it I promise! We traveled with my 11y year old for those wondering about family friendly, I would say yes as long as they are mature and can handle traveling long distances. Here are some tips for travelers: Yosemite is hot in the summer. But you travel through many different climates (welcome to California) so wear layers. That way you can dress and undress as needed. Bring sunscreen, head protection, water and food/snacks. Have a pillow and or blanket for the ride. The trip is long, but in no way shape or form is it grueling. The guide does great keeping you engaged with super helpful and knowledgeable info. Plus, California is stunning. Most of the trip is filled with beautiful sites to see. If you do not choose to be apart of the guided tour, bring earbuds. Please, don’t talk over the guide, it’s really inconsiderate and honestly rude and annoying to those who are trying to get the most out of their time spent! If for some reason you forget supplies there is a stop on the way there to pick up anything you may need! Also a stop on the way back. Something that I read up on prior to our trip was to bring bathing suit/water shoes and a towel. I’m really glad we did because after hiking the soak and swim in the river felt sooooo good. All and all if you have a free day DO NOT miss this trip. Our National Park system is a treasure and a true slice of heaven! The overnight experience would have made it more worth it for going all that way. - Guide was very informative on the history of the area. It was a long time on the bus and only 3 hours at the park which went very quickly. There wasn't alot of time to do much and we were advised not to take the green bus which would have saved alot of walking time and opportunity to see more.

10 out of 10 - The drive was very easy, and Sam was an excellent guide. Very friendly and welcoming. He gave us a little bit of history and fun facts, and the heads up for the views. Yosemite was beautiful, and we stopped at in-n-out on our way back! 10/10 experience.

Great views, bumpy ride - First the positives, Our guide Annie was great and offered many options for free exploration of the park. The views were spectacular! The only negative was the bus ride which takes about half of the trip. The F550 bus has no suspension in the back and felt like we were getting hit with a sledge hammer at times. If they are going to continue to use this bus they might want to add some air ride to the rear. Especially for over 6 hours of road time back and forth from the park. In summary, Park awesome, van terrible.

Good experience - I have no stories to share. Long bus riding is quite tiring. The driver is good. He served as a good tourist guide.

Being a kid again - One of the best experiences I had was climbing the rocks, I just enjoyed going higher and higher up the steeps

Don’t book this tour - This Yosemite small group trip from San Francisco was extremely disappointing. It was essentially just a transportation service. The so-called guide merely drove us to Yosemite and left us at the Yosemite Lodge for three hours with no guidance or assistance. There was barely enough time to explore or even have lunch, let alone embark on any meaningful hikes. The trip involved more than eight hours on the bus—four hours each way—with very limited time to actually see any interesting spots. Overall, it was not worth the time or money.
