  • Haight-Ashbury - Our tour starts and ends here!

This is the most significant and iconic neighborhood of the 1960s: the summer of love took place here, it was the birthplace of the hippy movement, and it was home to many famous musicians including the Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, and Janis Joplin.

The neighborhood also boasts the city’s best, most colorful, and grand Victorian architecture that we’ll explore and become experts in!

  • Golden Gate Park - San Francisco’s most iconic central park. Just 1 block from our starting and ending point!

We’ll visit all the main cultural highlights and curiosities here and learn about the park’s foundational history. We even have old photos to show you on our iPad!

We’ll see:

  • Conservatory of Flowers
  • DeYoung Museum
  • Japanese Tea Garden
  • California Academy of Science
  • & more!
  • Presidio of San Francisco - Another grand nature area and the true local cyclist route to the Golden Gate Bridge. The Presidio features the city’s grandest nature and epic ocean views. We’ll take you to the absolute finest lookout point on the Pacific Ocean, which is the single greatest place to see the Golden Gate Bridge.
  • Painted Ladies - The most famous Victorian houses in the world! We’ll see them at Alamo Square Park. We’ll also see other even grander painted lady houses in other parts of town!

5 stars is an understatement!! - If I could give this tour 10 stars, I would! My husband and I make it a point to take a bike tour in every city we visit, and this one is by far the best! The experience begins with a brief introduction to get everyone comfortable, followed by Nick sharing some fascinating background history of San Francisco. After that, you’re set up with your bike, helmet, and audio device. Once you start riding, you’ll notice how comfortable and ergonomic the bikes are! The different bike settings make climbing the city's hills effortless. The tour is filled with stunning views of the city, and having Nick as our guide made it even more special. He’s personable, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he does and his love for San Francisco shines through. If you’re considering renting a bike, they offer that option too!

Wow! Biking on the Golden Gate Bridge - amazing! - Gary, our guide, did an excellent job taking us through parts of San Fran. He had a couple of drawbacks to overcome: lots of fog (although now I know it's pretty common in San Fran) and a huge concert in Golden Gate State Park which shut down a big part of the park. He was able to change his tour which allowed us to see the Palace of Fine Arts which I was super excited about! Gary is very knowledgeable about San Fran and its history and enjoyed sharing his knowledge with us. The bikes are fantastic!!! Best ebikes we've ever rode- so easy to go up some of those steep San Fran hills! And, the most amazing part of the tour is riding on the Golden Gate Bridge.... so special!! Thank you, Gary, for sharing your love of your city with us!

Put this on your MUST Do list! - We loved the tour! Our guide, John, was so friendly and knowledgeable. My husband and I took our 15 year old on the tour, and even though we had already been to a few of the locations, she loved seeing it all by e-bike. I recommend that every family should do it, if you have a morning open to see great highlights of San Francisco!!!

A 100% must do when visiting San Francisco - This was without question a 100% yes experience. We are a young adult family of five and we loved every minute of the tour. Nick was entertaining and knowledgeable …. We were extra lucky as we had a sky blue day so our experience was heightened. As first timers to San Francisco we learnt so much and saw masses in the three hours. Added extra was Nick spoiling us with a donut and advice where to go and what to see once we left him. We urged him to you to book asap. Bikes very easy to use …. Even if you’re middle aged and have never used one before!

Great tour of a great city - Fabulous bike ride through the city, through special neighborhoods, parks, to and from the Golden Gate Bridge, back into the city to the Painted Ladies and finally through Haight Street back to the start. The wheels are great. Nick was our guide and he was wonderful, gave us a lot of information. Absolute Recommendation!

Great way to see the sites! - We had a great time with Gary. He knows a lot about a lot -- which made his commentary priceless. The size of the group is perfect and the bikes are easy to operate. We were able to visit some places we hadn't been on previous trips to SF. Riding to and on the GGB was a blast even with fog.
