Barry was a wonderful... - Barry was a wonderful tour guide. He was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about San Francisco and the wine regions. He volunteered to take pictures of us and took care to find the best shot. He was entertaining - even juggled for us - and played great music on the ride. He took care to ensure a memorable and great experience for us.

Brilliant day in Napa & Sonoma! - Big thank you to our brilliant guide & driver, Jeffrey, for a fun day visiting Napa & Sonoma! We had a great time at both the vineyards (Nicholson Ranch & Ru Vango) with friendly & informative guides at both. Also really enjoyed our stops at Oxbow Market/Model Bakery (delicious pastries!), a photo stop near Golden Gate Bridge, plus nice leisurely lunch at Sonoma Plaza (recommend The Girl & the Fig for those visiting). Thank you Jeffrey - one of the highlights of our trip!

Perfect trip to Napa , Sonoma and then some - The driver was Funny, Informative, professional and patient, loved the additional stops to take the photo of the Golden Bridge from close, the breakfast stop which we all needed given that it starts early. Highly Recommended !!!! Perfect for a trip to both regions in a smaller group ! Thank you Thank you!

Quality time in Napa and Sonoma - A lovely relaxed, informal tour where we felt well looked after by Jake and the hosts at the wineries. Great to have a mix of free time at the market and in the village, plus the organised tastings. Nothing felt rushed, hosts were generous with their time and knowledge.

Not the best wines - Our guide was great and kept us engaged but I felt that the choice of wineries was poor. Unfortunately we dumped a couple of the wines and it felt like they just wanted us to buy the wines and didn’t give much detail on each of the wines we were drinking or the process itself.

Meh - Please be aware to spend more when you're at the wineries for "tasting fees". You will spend more if you don't buy at least two bottles of wine per person per winery. I hate to compare places but when we went to Penticton/Naramata Bench for a wine tour we went the whole day to six wineries and we didn't have to pay "tasting fees". This is why I still buy B.C. wines because of how we were treated when we were there and the good memories after we went.

A big disappointment - The bus and its driver were excellent! But that is it: Totally overpriced, no value for money. Not a good option if you want to skip one wine tasting as you will get charged US$35 ANYWAY for not tasting wine! Rip-off in plain English. The US wines are nice but not worth as much as one gets charged for it (plus Tax anyway!!!). Very unhappy.

Don't use Viatour, book direct! - Do NOT book with Viatour, book direct with the tour company. In this case Green Dream Tours/Dylan's. We booked through Viatour, and arrived as instructed to find that the tour wasn't running at all, nor had it ever been scheduled. The local tour guides for a different tour were very helpful, and Viatour in fairness refunded me instantly, although offered no apology or help with an alternative booking. Seems from the tour company this is not uncommon.
