I don’t think I’ve ever written a bad review… - Let me start with the good- 1. Our driver, Keiko, was wonderful. He was prompt to pick us up, felt safe while driving with him, let us stop at view points for pictures and pointed out historical sites along the way. 2. The wine itself was wonderful The bad- everything else. The itinerary was extremely misleading (took 2+ hours to get to first winery, only able to spend 15 minutes in town, never went to Val d’Orcia which was main reason we booked this) The wineries were beyond disappointing- picture your ideal Tuscan winery and then picture the opposite of that and that’s what we got. Then to top it off, the van broke down on the way home and we were stuck on side of the road for 1.5 hours. Which you know what, things happen! But the issue with the car breaking down was that we could’ve assisted in changing the tire but the spare tire that they had was too old and not safe to use. Leading me back to some good where the company arranged safe transportation to get us home even after the other drivers were done with their work day. Pro tip: make sure you eat a snack before because you won’t get the chance to eat for 6 hours since we were only supplied basket of bread at the end of the second winery and not enough time in town to get something to eat
