Excellent tour! - All the reviews are right - this trip is very well organized and our guide, Reggie, was fabulous. The tour of the site was excellent and he spotted two species of toucans, howler and spider monkeys and several other birds that really rounded out the trip for us. It was also crazy hot and humid and he did a really great job making sure we were hydrated and feeling ok. Highly recommend!

Review of one day tour to Tikal from San Ignatio - We agree with the last review. We enjoyed this full day trip to the Tikal Mayan Ruins and thoroughly appreciated the time there. We had an excellent guide to teach us about the amazing society that existed 1700 years ago. The temples are spectacular! One day is enough for this tour but if you could stay in the area and experience the jungle at night and solitude in the early morning, I think that would be very nice!

A great day visiting Tikal - Crossing the border onto Guatemala was easy. We found Guatemala was beautiful. It was a hot day at Tikal. We saw spider monkeys in the trees. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Lunch on the return ride home was very good. Overall this was a great experience!

Well worth the price of admission! - Antonio was an absolute fantastic guide. He provided so much background during the ride and when we're at the site, his enthusiasm rubs off on everyone.
Tikal itself is impressive, but made so much more by the background information provided. Highly recommended!

Great experience - Our tour with Mayawalk was great! The group was small (6 people), the transport vans were very nice, the lunch was tasty, and most importantly our guide was knowledgeable and engaging.

Amazing guide - Jesus Antonio was an amazing guide!! Educated, scholarly, and passionate about his the history, the people, and education, he was super friendly and very high energy. He should seriously write a book. Blessed!

Fun Day at Tikal - Guide was great… very knowledgeable. It rained a lot of the day so bring an umbrella if it’s in the forecast. Lunch was delicious. Lots of driving but totally worth it. Crossing the border was easy.

A must do when in San Ignacio - Visiting Tikal is always amazing. Crossing the border requires a change in mini van and walking through the immigration booth but the whole process is easy and smooth.

Great day trip! - We got rained out of the ATM tour so did this one instead. Highly recommend, guide was great, super knowledgeable and even accommodated a breakfast request. Crossing into Guatamala was easy and hand off between guides was smooth. The ruins were impressive and we even got to see a few monkeys!

Average at best. - Overall disappointed in tour. Guide was knowledgeable, but seemed disinterested at times and the lunch stop afterwards was pretty bad. Dealing with the company at time varied from great to bad.
