We will break for lunch at a local restaurant in the village and after lunch we will head south east for a visit to the Maya ceremonial cave of Barton Creek; only accessible by canoe. The 45-minute drive to the cave is very scenic, passing through a few Maya Villages along the way. We will spend approximately one hour canoeing through this cave. Caye Inland Expeditions - Victor was the best guide we ever had! Such an amazing trip! We even saw a bunch of howler monkeys at the ruins.

Great service - Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We were picked up on time in a nice vehicle. I love that our guide was flexible and switched the order of the trips based on the weather to give us the best experience. The cave was really neat and a unique experience but I did crave a little more adventure and opportunity to be a more active participant. The Ruins were amazing but plan for a slower pace to absorb all the information the guides have to share. Would definitely recommend the tour company for good service and reliability.
