Highlights
  • Termas Valle de Colina - These natural pools are arranged as outdoor terraces and are formed thanks to the calcareous deposits of thermal water, with temperatures of up to 55ºC, where you can enjoy a relaxing and therapeutic bath of mineral waters, while you enjoy the hot springs you can admire the fascinating natural mountain environment. We will start with a stop at a service center to have breakfast, use bathrooms and an ATM, we will continue traveling towards the Cajon del Maipo sector and we will see the San Jose de Maipo Main Square in a panoramic way, we will continue traveling 1 hour and 30 minutes approx. of the mountains to reach the end of the road and enter the Termas Valle de Colinas where we will be enjoying the Wells with hot thermal waters for 3 hours, after that time we will begin to descend and make a stop to enjoy some typical Chilean Empanadas or a Typical lunch to end with a visit to the House of Chocolate, to finish in their respective hotels. - Plaza de Armas - San José de Maipo was founded as a Villa by act of Don Ambrosio O’Higgins in 1792. The Governor of Chile and future Viceroy of Peru considered it necessary to give it the status of Villa as a way to support the mining operations that took place in the area of San Pedro Nolasco. In fact, in these mines there was an important production of silver, which was very important for the coffers of the Colony. - Tunel Ferroviario del Tinoco - The constructions that we can see in this place are declared historical heritage monuments, since they belong to the Puente Alto el Volcán railway, which formerly passed through here. The Tinoco tunnel is a great work of engineering carved into rock and has a length of more than 600 meters. It corresponds to a construction carried out for the transit of the Puente Alto-el Volcán railway. The train stopped working in 1985 and today the facilities are abandoned. The railway was inaugurated in 1914 to be able to transport the minerals extracted in the Valdés mines and which were then processed in the town of Volcán. The tunnel is located right in a complicated sector of the road to the Volcano, where you can only pass by one vehicle, in a yield of more than 500 meters. In the sector, continuous rolling occurs, especially with rains with high isotherm. - Cajon del Maipo - El Cajón del Maipo is located one hour from Santiago de Chile, being a frequent destination for followers of ecotourism and practitioners of hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, kayaking and river rafting. Among the main attractions are the El Morado Natural Monument, the Lagunillas ski center, the Baños Morales hot springs, Baños Colina and the Termas del Plomo, near the El Yeso reservoir, the main source of drinking water for the city of Santiago.

Worthy - It was better than expected, the vehicle was great , Gonzales the driver was even better. There were adequate amount of stops and plenty of photo ops. I went in the hottest pool, I had it mostly to myself. It was a little cool when we arrived, the two hours there was enough time.

Wonderful experience!!! - Incredible place, with an indescribable landscape. Too bad it's not open in winter. But it is a place that is very worth visiting.

Missed due to illness, refund denied - Unfortunately, we missed the tour because my wife was ill. They local tour company refused to refund our money despite the illness. Don't chance it if there's any risk of missing your tour!
