Amazing tour! It’s a must, for coffee lovers. Incredibly satisfying. - Decided to do our own tour because we had a car rental. Drove from San Jose (downtown) area. The drive was not too lengthy but the closer you got the streets became thinner and lots of uphills. Great views, plenty of restaurants to choose from. Paid $28.00 plus $7.00 USD for breakfast per person. Staff was friendly and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and not boring as she explained the entire process of the coffee beans. Tour lasted an hour. After the tour we were able to take pictures, walk anywhere on the plantation and drink as much coffee as we wanted. Beautiful place with so many coffee trees, omg and the colorful blue and pink hydrangeas, banana and guava trees all over. This was such an amazing tour and glad we made it here. No regrets! Oh and the best part, about 7 different types of coffees and they ship the coffee beans for free! Yes, free. We definitely took advantage of this. Again, another great experience Costa Rica has to offer.

Great coffee experience - Great coffee experience. Our knowledgeable guide helped us understand the whole process- from where the plants originated, how they are planted, how harvest occurs, the cleaning process to the roasting.

Beautiful place, very informative tour, delicious coffee - In 2023 in Costa Rica I drunk Doka coffee ☕️ at several places and I really liked it. I decided to visit Doka estate upon my return to Costa Rica and I did. In general it is a very nice old place with a beautiful garden. The tour was very informative. I learned a lot. The most valuable information for me was the distinction between the different roasts. Our guide recommended me to go for espresso or dark roast. I decided for dark roast. Back in Munich I have ordered frequently at Doka. I really like doka☕️dark rosst👌.

Coffee Tour - Came here on a Caravan tour. we had a pretty good included lunch before touring the coffee plantation. The plantation was nice we heard about how the plants are planted, how the beans grow and are harvested. we then walked thru the factory as the guide explained how the beans are processed, bagged and blended for sale. It wasn't picking season so we didn't get to see it in action. Afterwards we got samples to try in the gift shop.

Coffee tour - We liked the tour, but we were there outside of the harvest season, so everything was presented in a rather theoretical way. But it couldn't be any other way. The guide was well informed and answered all of our questions.

Heaven for Coffee Lovers! - As a Coffee Lover, your reviewer was really looking forward to this tours and it was lone of the highlights of our 2 week trip to Costa Rica. From the beautifully laid out grounds with all the wonderful wildlife that CR has to offer, to the excellent & informative guided tour, who would have thought they used a very early form of 'Hydro power' in the preparation of the beans! And yes, there are still dried outside in the sun. Once done, you get a chance to sample the various blends in the large and well stocked gift shop. There is also a large restaurant, serving good food. Highly Recommended.

DO NOT BUY THE COFFEE - The tour was great! We loved it so much that we bought coffee in the gift shop. We took advantage of their offer of free shipping. That was February 18th. Over a month later, our coffee has not arrived. I emailed asking for an update on my order last week. They responded right away saying it was a supply issue that was resolved and my order was being shipped that day. However, they were unable to provide a tracking number. A week later, they stopped responding to my emails and I still don't have my coffee. Dealing with this has ruined my experience.
