Private tour - Thank you Josh & to our tour guide Luis for an amazing experience. We booked with Josh and he made it very easy to book and always asked how our time was during the tour. Luis was an exceptional tour guide. Very very humble , talked with us the whole time , recommended an amazing food spot when we hit the beach ( mojitolab) ; the water slides were amazing. Luis made sure we felt comfortable and safe the entire time. Highly recommend booking this excursion.

I was traveling with my... - I was traveling with my sisters and our guide Luis was so attentive, patient and kind. He gave us tips on the best places to eat and even taught us some spanish!

Thanks to our guide Luis we were able to enjoy this tour without feeling like we were to old! - The natural water slides and swimming holes were so much fun. Being older (68, 72 and 75) can make some tours very scary but not if you have the right guide, we did! Luis made my sisters and I feel like we were with family. He was so attentive, patient and kind. He recommended places to eat and even taught us some Spanish

Not what we had hoped for :( - First I want to start with the good. Luis was absolutely wonderful. I would absolutely book another tour with him any time. He was kind, personable, and funny. He took us to a fantastic spot to eat at Luquillo beach - the baked chicken was AMAZING! The beach was fun and nice and calm. The spots where we stopped in El Yunque were beautiful. However, the hiking was WAY more treacherous that we thought based on the tour description and the natural waterslides are WAY more intense that we realized. We were not able to do the waterslides because they were so intense. There were way too many people in the swimming holes and on the slides - we felt like we were swimming in a goo of everyone's sunscreen and we had to get off steep trails because of so many people coming and going at the same time to these same spots that we thought would be quiet and secluded. We barely got to see much of the rainforest and nearly all of our hike was over and around giant slippery rocks. I took a very nasty fall at one point. I would never have booked this particular tour had the description warned just how treacherous and extreme this tour would be. The next time we go to El Yunque it will need to be a tour that isn't this extreme. Again, though, we really loved Luis. He was a great driver, was so much fun to talk to and get to know, and he kept us laughing. He is a great tour guide!
