Informative Sightseeing - Interacting with Johnny, our tour guide was the best part of this excursion. He was a down-to-earth, well informed person of Cozumel history. He kept us safe as we followed behind him on the crazy traffic roads. We went to 4 main areas by the church, the goddess statue, a genuine black coral sculpture ( I was able to buy an earring souvenir ) and by the park closer to the beach to have some yummy authentic tacos. Keeping up with the pace of the island felt way easier on the e-bikes. Would recommend this in Top 5 things to do in Cozumel!

Amazing Bike Tour! Family Fun! - My husband and I along with our four young adult children had a port stop in Cozumel as part of our Royal Caribbean cruise and booked an E bike tour. We’re so glad we did! The website gave us clear directions as to how to find the Beach Bum E bike company, and we were warmly greeted by Giselle and given a quick tutorial on how the e-bikes work. They had various bikes with different seats to accommodate most back sides comfortably! We were able to see the historical downtown area of Cozumel and a lot of stunning views as we rode along the ocean. Giselle was friendly, engaging and very helpful so we felt safe driving through the traffic of Cozumel. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the island and its people. We stopped in the most delicious local taco place - Giusados-for authentic blue corn tacos- water, soft drinks and horchata were included in the tour fee. Everything was fresh and delicious! The tour was a wonderful way to see a lot of the island in a few hours of time. We highly recommend this company and this tour!

The island was beautiful.... - The island was beautiful. Our tour guide was amazing, sharing all the interesting facts about the island and giving us a brief history lesson. This was the first time, we've ever done an e-bike tour so it was exciting. It was a good break from walking in the hot sun. We ended it off with delicious tacos at this local restaurant. Would definitely recommend taking the tour.

Brilliant fun, a great way to see the sights! - Our tour didn't start until midday so it was a little hot but we were the only family on the tour so I was delighted that it went ahead as some other tours may have cancelled. Johnny was an excellent guide and we were up and away quickly on the bikes and he took us to some lovely stops and made sure we were safe and looked after throughout the tour.

If you want to see how the people live and get a true taste of Cozumel try this! - A great way to see more of Cozumel than the pier and cruise port! Jony was a great guide! We ended up having him all to ourselves as it seems the potential rain scared some folks away. It turned out to be a beautiful day and we enjoyed a great ride. Jony was very knowledgeable and shared many historical facts and personal experiences! The fresh mojito I had from our stop at the stand by the beach was the most delicious ever! The tacos were very good! My first time trying mole and it was different! Highly recommend this tour and Jony!

Unimpressive! - We left 45 minutes late after waiting for another couple. 15 minutes should be the cut off point for waiting. We only made two stops for history information which was disappointing. The taco lunch was very good! It was followed by a stop for ice cream and popsicles. Mainly it was just riding the bikes up one long street and then back. We hardly saw any of the town. 👎

Don't do it!! - The tour guide was lovely and he tried really hard but firstly it is a third world country and there was nothing to look at on the tour. We rode a long way along a road that we could only see the back of hotels. Not good. The bikes were old and we were told not to use the electric part too much otherwise we would run out of battery and have no assistance. The bike was old and the seat was terrible, so super uncomfortable. We should have just got a taxi to the town square and had a paddle in the water on our own. It would have been more pleasant. The taco place was very ordinary. Lots of rice in the taco and not much flavour. And there was no ice cream stop. Save your money and have a look around on your own in the comfort of a car. (We did an ebike tour when we were in Santa Monica and absolutely loved it. Had a wonderful day so its not us.)

Unsafe Experience - I caution anyone considering this event. Unsafe with substandard bikes and riding against traffic. We stopped within 1000 feet of leaving and returned for a full refund.
