Highlights
- Holy Loch - We start and end here in the Holy Loch, Dunoon. Learn about its history from ancient times, through the wars and up tioll the present. There may also be a chance to see sonar images of some WW2 landing craft which were sunk here.
- Carrick Castle - Another destination on our Northern Clyde Tour is 14th Century Carrick Castle, situated on the beautiful shores of Loch Goil and in the shadows of the magnificent hills behind. Keep an eye out for Sea Eagles and other birds of prey as they nest in the forests here.

As you journey up the scenic Loch Long and Loch Goil, you will pass by the remarkable 14th Century Carrick Castle before reaching the delightful Boatshed Café, the perfect spot for a savory lunch. If fortune is on your side, you might even catch sight of a pine marten or a couple of red squirrels.

When you enter the marina by either by car or foot, go straight until you reach the visitor car parking which is located on the left hand side opposite the gangway leading to the boats. The starting point is the lovely seating area located opposite the reception building.
