Snorkeling - Frank and Andy did a great job. They took us to 2 different snorkeling spots where we saw octopus, puffer fish, and eel. Also, they provided us with a great lunch of pineapple, drinks, chips, dip, and guacamole. I would highly recommend them!

Really Cool Snorkel Experience - My family and I were only in the Brasilito/Flamingo area for a day and we had hoped to go on a snorkeling trip with Pacific Coast Diving, but found out they were booked up and couldn't take us out. They connected us with Frank and he agreed to take us out that morning on short notice, even though he didn't have his boat ready, for a private family snorkel. It was awesome. Frank was very easy going and flexible with whatever level of snorkeling we wanted to do (we had a couple small children so calmer waters with some puffer fish and octopus was right up their alley) and Andy was an excellent free diver who did his best to ensure the kids got to see some really cool ocean creatures. They did their best to ensure we had a great time and got to have a one-of-a-kind experience for a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend going out with them if you are in the area and are looking to go for a snorkel.

Excellent Private Snorkeling Tour Experience - Our family - 2 adults and 3 teenagers- thoroughly enjoyed our snorkeling tour with Frank and Pura Vida snorkeling! Frank is fun and knowledgeable, and we had good email communication in advance of our excursion. We stopped at 2 different spots and the water was warm and beautiful and we saw lots of different types of fish and sea creatures. The snorkels, masks, and flippers were in good condition, and the boat was clean and comfortable. The snacks served to us really hit the spot and it was one of the highlights of our family's Costa Rica vacation. We had our own transportation to the meeting spot along the beach, and although there was a brief time where we wondered if we really were in the right spot (the signage isn't super obvious), it all worked out just fine. Would recommend this experience!

The highlight of our trip to CR - My husband, my sister and her husband, and I enjoyed a full day of snorkeling with Junior and Andy. It was absolutely delightful. They took us to five different spots, each with its own appeal, including a stunning, empty white sand beach. We saw a wide variety of colorful fish and sea animals, including some we've not seen before, and even a turtle! Andy dove to bring up a puffer fish and a hermit crab, carefully showing us the creatures. He made sure that we were ok in an area with currents; I felt very safe and looked after on this trip. The food was nice, including what seemed to be homemade tostones, way better than the usual, as much beer, fruit juice, and water as we wanted, and the music was well-chosen for this baby boomer group that hasn't lost its rhythm. Junior and Andy were very easy, yet expert, company. This day was the highlight of our trip to Northwest CR! Worth every penny.

Vacation snorkel day in Costa Rica! - This was a private snorkeling trip. Frank and Andy were great. We had a blast. Nice boat and beautiful area.

Great private trip with kids lots of octopus!! - Frank and Andy were great guides. Had two kids 8 and 5 they picked the right locations and were chill and patient. We saw 3 octopus, tons of puffers and triggers and angels and an eel. Also 3 really cool starfish that were all very different. Lastly they let us chill on the boat and jump off the top and take it easy which is crucial with kids. Highly recommend !!!!

Sunday in Playa Flamingo - We had such a great morning with Frank and Andy. They had lots of knowledge about the area and in the water too. We saw lots of fish while snorkeling and 2 southern ray's. Then took to kids to honeymoon beach to swim and look at shells and had a delicious lunch and drinks. It was a great outing. I highly recommend this company.

Perfect Day Snorkeling! - What a wonderful day we spent with Frank and Andy at Pura Vida Snorkeling!. We were picked up on time and the boat was clean with all the things we needed to snorkel. Frank was able to tell us so much about the area and it's history. He also showed us pictures and told us about the fish we would see. We went to three different sites to snorkel. Andy was swimming with us and pointed out all of the wonderful variety of fish. After snorkeling we had an excellent lunch! Frank and Andy were very positive and professional and fun! We will use them again on our next to Costa Rica.

Great experience and a ton of fun! - The snorkeling excursion was awesome! Nicole made planning the trip great. She was easy to communicate with and responsive. She also arranged transportation which was helpful. The boat was on time and easy to find. Frank and Andy were amazing. They catered the trip to our group, they answered all our questions, they gave us a brief history lesson, they were fun and engaging. It was absolutely perfect. The actual snorkeling was incredible. We saw an octopus, a shark, a sea turtle, and a million types of fish. Lunch was tasty. They clearly love their work. We had a blast. The experience could not have been better!
