In the winter season a lot of kitesurfers from all over the world come there to enjoy the waves and the strong wind.
The summer season the crowed beach is replace by the Loggerhead Turtles who come here to lay the eggs

Additional Information
Embark on a 2-hour guided journey through the desert to uncover the southern region’s secret wonders. Traverse stunning beaches, deserts, and Sal’s natural reserve from behind the wheel of an automatic dune buggy. Journey across Santa Maria’s salt flats, encircled by magnificent sand dunes, kite beach, and so much more. Group excursions can accommodate a maximum of 16 individuals, with no more than two passengers per buggy.
- Minimum age for driving is 18 years
- Not recommended for children under the age of 6
- Pricing is per vehicle; a maximum of 2 people per booking for each buggy
- May be operated by a multi-lingual guide
- Valid driving license required
- Without a valid and original driving license, participants will not be able to participate on the tour. No refund will be given
- Group sizes will be no more than 16 passengers.
- Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there is not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
- It is recommended to wear closed toe shoes

Exhilarating Dune buggy experience - Fab afternoon, with these guys. Very professional and guided you if you needed it. The experience was fun and exciting.
Would definitely recommend if looking for something a bit different.

Unforgettable moment - Hello,
We rode buggy with my spouse and the experience was crazy!!!!
The staff is great , attentive , very patient and calm.
I was afraid because it was the first time for me and I was reassured and confident.
I recommend 100%!!!!
It will remain a wonderful memory with a great photographer.

Escursioni bellissime!!! - Hike with Buggy fantastic.... Jason, the guy who accompanied us, was really nice, competent and explained various things to us at Ponta Preta beach.

Amazing - My boyfriend and I booked a buggy tour (northern region) with Hendrick, Lallen and Vagner. Incredible people who looked after us brilliantly! The route was also amazing, seeing the ocean, shipwreck, and sand dunes where we were able to stop off for photo opportunities and they gave information about the places we were stopping at. Will definitely book more experiences with these friendly people! Bonus points for the lovely dog too:)

If you do one thing on Sal then make it this!!! - What an amazing experience!! The staff where great fun and really engaging with all of us. The vehicles were in great condition . We chose the 2hr 500cc experience and if we had enough time left on our holiday would of also booked the 4hr 1000cc experience.
There’s honestly not much to see on Sal but this experience makes that matter not. With some hill climbs and lots of sand driving this has made our pretty much dull holiday great fun.
Also normally i’m not one for buying photos but we had our own personalised shown to us at the end and for £25 I found to be great value.
I cannot recommend booking this experience enough!!! 5 STAR EXPERIENCE!!!!🇬🇧🇬🇧

Beautiful quad ride - Beautiful 4-hour quad tour of the island of Sal, through the desert interior of the island. They provide a suit, helmet, glasses and a bottle of water. For €3 handkerchief that covers the nose and mouth (bandana type). Efficient means. Thanks to the guide Matias, very friendly and very helpful, who knows Italian, French and English. Bring your driving license with you. The meeting point was at their offices. Highly recommended NO LIMITS Sal island, young guys and attentive to customer needs.

What a spectacle is adventure - If you want fun, adrenaline and getting to know the southern part of Sal Island, then this SSV 1000cc tour is the best option. Very cool landscapes and an authentic scavenger hunt through the island's desert.
I advise you to go and see if you don't regret it.
The hospitality of the people of Cape Verde is 10 stars, just like the 10 islands.
