Join your fellow culinary enthusiasts, decide on the menu items you wish to prepare, then embark on a market excursion to gather the required ingredients. This includes a visit to an organic farm boasting an array of ripe fruits and vegetables. Afterward, head to the cooking school to set up your personal cooking station for the class. Under the guidance of an expert English-speaking instructor, you’ll learn to cook several Thai specialties, including Mango with Sticky Rice, Pad Thai, and Green Curry, and even craft your own curry paste by hand! Once the cooking is complete, sit down with your group to enjoy a communal meal, sharing stories and tasting each other’s creations, before being transported back to your lodging.

Situated in a quaint village within the Saraphi District is Grandma’s Home Cooking School. Begin your day with a visit to the local market, where our teachers will walk your through the fundamental ingredients of Thai food and how to choose them. At our organic farm, gain insights into Thai herbs and vegetables. You’ll do more than just gather fresh produce; you’ll learn to harvest mushrooms, gather eggs, and take pleasure in cooking in Thai-style pavilions within our intimate class setting (no more than 8 students) . Our culinary classes offer well-known Thai dishes like Tom Yam (Hot and Sour Soup), Kang Kew Waan (Green Curry), and Pad Thai (Stir Fried Rice Noodles), among others. Choose one beverage and one dish from our five categories: appetizer, stir fry, soup, curry, and dessert. Our teachers will illustrate the methods in a sequential manner before it’s your opportunity to prepare your chosen dishes on your own.
