Fun filled experience - What a great time we had on our tour with 2 other couples. The hosts were so much fun and had a wealth of information to share along the way. Their interaction with the patrons was incredible. There were so many galleries to explore and a variety of art . We never would have discovered them on our own. We enjoyed the freedom of grabbing the next trolley at our own pace. Hours of fun for only $10. What a deal!

Fun evening on the art crawl - We had a great experience on the art crawl. We enjoyed going into galleries we would not otherwise see. We found the gallery representatives to be very hospitable and informative. Most galleries offered snacks and drinks which was a nice touch. The docents that were working in each zone were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed hearing our trolley guides Jerry and Kathy tell us about the art in Sarasota. They always include some humor! Everyone in our group had a wonderful evening. We all felt the $10 ticket provided a big bang for the buck. It’s exciting to see how the art community in Sarasota has flourished and is continuing to grow. The city has become very vibrant! It was fun to be out and about with other art lovers.

Loved It! - Loved the art crawl trolley. The docents are super informative and helpful and the hop-on hop-off allows you to explore at your own pace. My only suggestion would be to provide a map showing the trolley route and stops to make them easier to find.

Get your art knowledge of Sarasota and have a great time. - What a great idea! I love art but didn't know where the best art districts were in Sarasota. I knew some of the 6 stops but parking can be so difficult in those areas. Great overview with the history of the art areas provided by the trolley guides. I got the overview that I wanted and enjoyed a special pleasant evening with my husband. Take this great tour.

Introduction to Hidden Treasures - Everyone enjoyed the art crawl immensely. We are all residents of Sarasota and appreciated that we were exposed to artists and studios in the area that we were unaware of. Many of us plan to return to some of the studios and purchase our favorite works of art. Thank you for a great evening filled with art and historical information about Sarasota.

Don’t miss out! - Great idea! Introduces folks to Sarasota Gallery Life.. provides parking!! Was great fun!! Will do again anytime. Suggestions: At the beginning we were trolley conscious.. see what’s there but don’t miss the trolley! We skipped visiting what looked like a great book store to get to the trolley. 25 minutes we waited and it didn’t arrive ! ( Not wasted time because the folks from the company were full of amazing knowledge about art glass, Sarasota, etc). We finally walked to the next venue. Lesson: don’t let the trolley control your evening! Once we got over that, we had a delightful evening! (We lingered on Pine St and saved a venue or two for next time. Note to the organizers: At the Art Ovation Hotel, there needs to be some table.. display,.. at the very entrance inviting people to the bar for a free glass of wine, and connecting them with the Art Director who will take them on a tour of the art. We were familiar with the Art person from a previous event and accidentally ran into her. Again, just a super idea and evening.. Thanks to everyone!

Wonderful Evening, Worth an Evening! - Wonderful plan if it can be implemented. Need to figure out trolleys so no one's waiting for an hour. Trolleys did not come every 15 minutes, one passed us by on Palm with #3 host calling the driver. Too many riders, too few trolleys, too long waiting. Many galleries were closed, Burns was closed, Palmer opened after trolley left... If you are participating and listed in the brochure, you can at least be open. Loved Jerome and his knowledge, very informative. Kathryn was a bit loud and abrasive with the guests. Would not get on her trolley in the future. I will tour again and again; so much left to uncover. Thank you!!!

Very poor experience. Would not recommend this tour. - We had a terrible experience. Only got to 2 of the 6 stops because the waits for trolley were so long and had to Uber back to parking because after 45 minutes of waiting for trolley we had to give up.

Would not recommend this tour - This tour was a huge disappointment as it was extremely poorly organized from the start. Firstly, there was no organization for lining up people for the trolleys. Some people were lined up, but then later people just filled in at the front - everyone just rushing the door. Then the next batch had to wait (30 people per trolley, we heard that Discovery Tours sold nearly 300 tickets - don’t know it those figures were accurate) The art galleries and other participating stores, like jewellers, were in districts. We stopped at our first stop (supposed to be 6). Then when we tried to get on the trolley for the next district, it was late. We got walking directions from the guide at this point. (Poor directions and no map) We wasted so much time finally getting to the second stop. After seeing only the art work in a hotel lobby, we decided to catch the trolley to another district. This is where everything completely fail us and a whole lot of other people. We waited 45 minutes for a trolley that had room for only 6 more people. (This left a whole line of people waiting). There was no more time left to see the last district, as the trolleys were going to be stopping the return to Discovery Tour Centre. When we talked to the attendant there she said they had two prior such Art Crawls that worked, blaming the drivers and traffic. I would not recommend this tour. It sounded like fun, but they didn’t deliver what they advertised.

A total rip off! - Worst tour ever! Total waste of time and money. Most disappointing, disorganized, so called “art crawl trolly tour”. It was oversold to hundreds of people… with no consideration for those of us who paid to be shuttled to different galleries around downtown Sarasota. After waiting for an hour to get the first trolly out to the first location, which was a Marriott hotel called “Art Ovation”… we saw very little, so called ‘art’, then left there to wait at the stop for the next trolly to take us to the other ‘art hubs’. After waiting over an hour for the next trolly (which was promised to arrive every 15 minutes) we were brought back to the trolly cottage gift shop, where the ‘so called’ tour began. Do not waste your time and money on this sham of a tour. This company and its lack of respect for it’s paying customers should be shut down for this shameful misrepresentation.
