The Prohibition Era - We did the guided tour and it was fabulous. Learned so much about this time in history. There is so much information and documentation about this time period and it was so interesting. The tour guide was a wealth of knowledge and made the tour even more worthwhile. The speakeasy at the end of the tour was fun and the crème de mint drink I ordered was delicious.

It’s worth a visit! - We did not do the guided tour, but found that costumed staff here and there still shared adages about the place. Very realistic wax people and the old photographs and information posted were really cool. The daiquiri on the cocktail lounge was delicious!

Fun and Educational! - Highlight of our trip. Learned so much about Prohibition. Very engaging and much larger than it appears from the outside. Our group of 12 had a personal tour guide and he was outstanding!

Embedded in the action - The museum can be a self or guided tour and you can even add on a class to make era cocktails or buy a ticket to have one at the speakeasy at the end of the tour. There are staff dressed in period attire and several rooms to explore with the different facets of prohibition (the pros and the cons). There are a few life size displays through out and many rooms to see. If this seems interesting, I recommend stopping in and grabbing a drink at the speakeasy after your tour is complete.

Surprisingly Good - I did not know what to expect, so my expectations were pretty low. Surprisingly, the Prohibition Museum was fun and informative! Took off one star because it was crowded and I felt a little rushed. Vintage cocktails at the end were a nice touch. (The Jack Rose was excellent!) A fun way to spend an hour or two.

Interesting - Very cool artifacts. Would recommend the guided tour, not self guided. You will get much more out of the tour with a experienced guide to tell you all the stories.
