If you only can do one tour in Savannah, this is the one! - This tour was one of the highlights of our trip. We thought about visiting Bonaventure Cemetery on our own, but the cemetery is huge, and we wouldn't have known where to start or what to see if we had. I am very glad we went with Tim instead because he is extremely knowledgeable, not only about the graves but about Savannah's history. Tim picked us up at our hotel and brought water and bug spray to make our walk more comfortable. He was even familiar with the local birds and vegetation, so we learned a lot in the few hours we spent with him. Highly recommended!!!

Excellent Tour Guide - We ran into Timmy’s tour today while ambling around Bonaventure Cemetery. It’s clear he has a wealth of stories and lots of inside information, not a ton of hype, just personable and interesting. This is who I’d do a tour with if and when I come back to Bonaventure.

Worth the trip! - Tim arrived and picked us up promptly and off we went. Being a local he was very informative and had a lot of knowledge and history on the Cemetery. If you’re a fan of Midnight in the Garden of Evil you will want to do this tour. Not to mention a lot of fascinating history.

A great tour and so much history - Tim is an incredible guide. His knowledge is so extensive and he’s passionate about Savannah and its history. Booking was easy, and being picked up and dropped off in town was great. He even provided water and bug spray. An added bonus was running into John Berendt, author of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil in the Cemetery (though I understand that was a one off and so don’t expect that if you book!).

Excellent Bonaventure tour - Tim was friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining. I really appreciated the opportunity to walk through the cemetery and see all of the history up close. I would highly recommend his tour.

Convenient, informative and friendly - Tim is a great tour guide, very well versed in the history of Savannah and Bonaventure, able to separate fact from fiction and bust a few myths! The pick up and drop off service made the tour so simple. He is also attentive to making sure people are comfortable with respect to hydration, bathroom facilities and bug attacks!

Friendly, informative, convenient - Tim clearly loves his subject and is highly informative. He welcomes questions though oftentimes ask you have to do is wait because he’s going to be telling you exactly what you wanted to know. The cemetery is beautiful, steeped in stories, soaked in the past, yet still a part of people’s lives today. Being picked up and dropped off was great for visitors not wanting to hire a car / drive on the other side of the road. The pick up was smooth and well communicated, there are supplies of water, bug spray and hand wipes and he’ll even make sure the portapotties are fit for use before you go in, now that’s taking care of your customers. The only thing that would have made it better for me (and I know this probably isn’t practical within the logistics of running tours) is to have been able to stay on in the cemetery after the guided portion of the tour to roam around exploring on my own for an hour or two.

Best Tour You Can Take - This was truly a wonderful tour! Tim, our guide, is incredibly knowledgeable about Bonaventure Cemetery, but also about Savannah in general. His family has been in Savannah for generations, and you can tell. His focus is much more historical, and aims for accuracy and details. That said, the service was phenomenal. Pick up and drop off were prompt and accommodating. My husband and I really loved this tour, and highly highly recommend.
