I’l padrino - Marcelo was an excellent tour guide and provided a lot of insight into the filming of the godfather in Sicily . Knowledgeable passionate and entertaining for the tour and the the towns visited were amazing.

Lots of fun on Godfather Tour with Marcello - My husband and I had a really enjoyable time on The Godfather Tour today. Marcello was really knowledgeable and entertaining and brought the film to life throughout the course of the tour. The sites visited were spectacular and we’d definitely recommend this tour.

GODFATHER TOUR ALIVE! - Visiting two beautiful hillside villages that will always live with that they were locations for the Godfather films. Our guide brought the film alive with not only his knowledge of the films but also his ability to bring it alive.

So much more than the Godfather... - The towns of Savoca and Forza d'Agro are beautiful and worth seeing whether one is interested in the Godfather movies or not. They are gems seemingly frozen in time. We had the experience of being witness to an engagement of a lovely young couple in front of the Santa Lucia Church (wedding of Appolonia and Michael, for Godfather enthusiasts. We even met Appolonia's film mother at her residence. Our guide, Marcello, knows everyone in the towns and made certain we had a full experience. I can't say enough about Marcello's delightful demeanor and excitement over everything Godfather. The man knows every screen, every word of the movie series. A huge bonus, and the only reason I was able to sign up, Marcello picks everyone up at their hotel. This day trip was so much more than just scenes/location of the Godfather.

Great day out - Our guide Marcello was very knowledgeable and informative. If you are a fan of the Godfather films, you must go on this trip!

Gorgeous views. - This was a great little excursion to add to our Taormina experience. Marcello took us to a couple of beautiful places up in the mountains, well worth the visit. He has great knowledge of the Godfather movies and was a fun guide. The views were spectacular.

Our day in Savoca & Forza d’ Agro’ Goodfather Tour - Marchello was so knowledgeable about Sicily and the movies. He spoke so well and the group was really happy. Everything was well co-ordinated and detailed. We had the best tour ever with Marchello and Massimo. Wonderful hosts and certainly loved our time with them. Highly recommend this tour!

Marcelo was a wonderful... - Marcelo was a wonderful guide. We had a nice time. My only complaint is we signed up for the 6 hour tour and were home in 4. We were a bit suprised.

so so tour - This was an ok tour for me. The guide tried to make jokes, some were funny, but for half of the tour it was difficult to understand what he was saying, which took away from 'what' he was probably telling us and it seems we couldn't squeeze in a question. I think a good guide reads the group, asks questions etc.. At times, when we were in areas where pics wanted to be taken he stood in front of what everyone wanted pics of. It was nice to have someone drive and guide us, but I think it may have been worth the money if we could have gotten more from it.

Decent tour for the price - Exploring the areas where films were made.. guide could not answer questions in english.. and second stop visited a church where guide was more interested in commenting about video from film ( in back of church ) instead of explaining significance of town/church..
