Soak in stunning views as our experienced tour guide educates you about the local flora, fauna, and the history of the Native Americans. Our trail connections to North Scottsdale provide you with more time on the trails than any other off-road tours in the vicinity.
We offer private tour vehicles: Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with six forward-facing seats, Jeep YJ with seven seats, or Jeep Gladiator that accommodates 14 in vertical-row (sideways) seating.
As a commercial special recreation permit-holder through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Cave Creek Ranger District and the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Land Management, Scottsdale Adventure Tours assures an authentic experience.
- Closed-toed shoes are mandatory.
- From December to February, bring warm clothing.
- This is a guide-led tour; guests will NOT be driving the Jeep.
- Our bumpy off-road Jeep tours are low-speed, jarring rides through rough terrain. Please ensure that every guest in your party understands that this off-road tour is a low-speed, bumpy ride through rough terrain.
- Please carefully review our list of health restrictions and requirements. Due to safety concerns, we are unable to accommodate guests who do not meet the tour requirements. Ensure each guest in your party reads and understands the tour requirements. There will be no refunds issued to guests who fail to read and understand the health restrictions and requirements of this tour.
- Not recommended for travelers who get motion sickness
- Must be physically able to climb in and out of a lifted Jeep Wrangler.
- Not recommended for passengers with any condition that could be aggravated by a rough, bumpy, and jarring off-road Jeep tour.
- Weight limit per seat: 275 pounds. Call our office ahead of time to arrange an alternate vehicle and an alternate route.
- Pregnant individuals are prohibited from participating in this high risk activity.

Bachelorette Blast - Allen was amazing! We went with a bachelorette and he catered the trip to what we wanted. Just be prepared for an adventure. It’s lots of fun!

Jon G is a Vibe! - Jon G was amazing! I would definitely recommend for anyone and everyone to book this experience. He was so much fun and kept the vibe going in our jeep! He played music and also let us choose what we wanted to listen to. Very knowledgeable about the area and even played a little trivia on our ride.
The ice cold waters and snacks were also a huge plus!

The best jeep tour!! - We knew this would be fun, but this was the highlight of our trip! Our guide, Jon, couldn’t have been more prepared for a bunch of us during a bachelorette party! He had liquid IVs, bottled water, snacks, ice cold scarves to keep us cooled down, and so much more. He was so knowledgeable and taught us so much but also hilarious! We had such a phenomenal time that we wanted to go again that weekend! I will absolutely be doing this again the next time I visit.

JON G IS TOP NOTCH! - We toured with Jon G for my bachelorette on July 12, 2024. We laughed so hard and we had the absolute best time. We were greeted by Jon with every flavor LiquidIv they make, cold water bottles, and scarves that would later be dunked in the ice cold cooler water and we wrapped those around our necks which felt AMAZING in the 113 degree temps! The entire rest of the trip we could not stop talking about how amazing and fun the Jeep tour was. The tour itself would have been amazing because none of my wedding party had ever been to the desert before, BUT having Jon as a guide made it TOP NOTCH. It was so much fun and I would love to go back out with my future husband after the wedding to do the sunset tour!

Bachelorette Party Tour With John - We ventured out on an open jeep tour for a bachelorette party mid July in Phoenix, Arizona… CRAZY right? Let me start by saying the views, the ride, all the things were so so good. But for the actual best part of the review, JOHN. Our tour guide, John, made this trip the absolute best experience for every one of us on the jeep. We are from Georgia, and I honestly wasn’t expecting much southern hospitality in the desert; however, John went above and beyond to keep us safe, laughing, cool, hydrated and shared so much knowledge on the land we were off-roading. The experience would have simply been a new for us all and scenic without effort, but John elevated all of that to one of my core memories of the trip and one I will never forget. We have already discussed going back for a sunset tour another time and I wouldn’t want to do it with anyone else but him. 12/10 recommend John and all of his dad jokes!!!

Trip worth the ride! Ask for Jon as a guide! - Jon was an awesome guide. We did the sunset tour and I would reccomend going if you have the time and want a great experience. Jon was fun and keep us all involved and had great story. The family of Donkeys at the end were a great surprise.

Had a great time… Allegedly - This Jeep Desert sunset tour was the best ending for celebrating a bride-to-be. Our guide, Jon was tentative, accommodating, and funny. He was an entertaining storyteller and you can tell that he is doing what he loves every day. You can hear the passion in his stories. Exceptional driver and a fantastic photographer! I have a new appreciation for Arizona desert thanks to Jon!
