- Grödinge - This is an experience for you who wish to go foraging for mushrooms and berries in the beautiful surroundings of Stockholm. The tour ends at a farm-to-table restaurant where you can buy a truly delicious lunch and will be able to enjoy your mushroom harvest prepared by the chefs.
The activity starts with me picking you up by car at a location of your choice and taking you to a forest where the chances of finding mushrooms are the best for the day. In the forest, while searching for the mushrooms and berries to pick, I’ll be happy to share my knowledge of what grows in the forest and guide you to what’s edible. After an hour or two , we will pause for a “fika” (coffea/tea) and some small talk or to just listen to the sounds of the surrounding forest. The activity will end at a really nice farm-to-table restaurant (depending on the season and day of the week) where you can buy lunch made from home grown vegetables and where you will even be able to enjoy your harvest as a side dish. Vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free dishes are available. Eventually (15h30 - 16) I will drop you off where I picked you up.

If you’re an experienced forager or a beginner - you will enjoy it either way. If you’re a beginner, you will gain new knowledge to bring with you for the rest of your life! The activity is suitable for nature lovers of all ages. The farm-to-table restaurant is exceptional and whatever you decide to order (at own expenses), it will be delicious! And, your harvest of mushrooms will be prepared and served to you. This activity will take you right into the local tradition of foraging for mushrooms and berries. I will take you to the best spots I know after many years of foraging or sometimes to new spots which we will discover together.
