An amazing night to spend - I booked on Thursday. But bad weather conditions I got postponed. But I do not regret it at all! As the only single guy in the group, it was not that awkward. Amazing night and well expend. Especially the narrator and his asisants, they made the whole experience so great

Incredible opportunity to see the stars - A very unique experience that you can only get in a low light community like Sedona where the night sky is super dark. There were 30 of us and they had everyone set up when we got there. There were chairs for everyone and six people to a telescope which gave us plenty of time. The astronomer had a great sense of humor and was very informative. He used this fantastic laser to show you things in the sky. I highly recommend this tour

Must Do - If you don’t have little kids, try for one of the late tours when it’s darkest. We were led out by kind guides to a circle of chairs in a mowed field and provided with binoculars to keep us busy while assistants focused large telescopes and a retired astronomer gave us scoop on what we’d be looking at. He knew his stuff! I was there on a perfectly clear night with the Milky Way spread out right there across the summer sky. Shooting stars were plainly and repeatedly visible. Saw my first galaxy. International Space Station was scheduled to make a pass and sure enough, we were able to find it. So much amazingness packed into a short tour, it was almost overwhelming.

So glad we booked this. - The guide was very knowledgeable and the telescopes were awesome! We saw shooting stars the ISS several stars and nebulous. If you bring a child like we did I recommend teaching them how to look thru the scope before ypu get put there so they can enjoy it a little more. Our son had a hard time for the first 30 mins or so. Otherwise we'll worth it. The night sky was amazing!

Star Experience - The stars were so beautiful and the guide was very knowledgeable. The laser was the best part to help us see exactly which stars they were referring to. The chairs were not comfortable to look up in the sky.

Plenty to see - I thought it was a bit long--surprisingly! I was worried that an hour wouldn't be enough time. But it was very informative and cool. You can't use your blacklight, which I didn't love because there must be critters in that field. But luckily they stay away when people are around. The tour includes blankets and telescopes, but it is also a good idea to bring your own binocular, which we did. It does get chilly (even in June), so I would bring a layer.

Hope to try again - The tour was cancelled twice so did not have an opportunity to experience the event. Appreciate them cancelling when conditions were unfavorable.

Nice people but disappointed in the experience - The instructor was very knowledgeable – perhaps too knowledgeable for people who just wanted some general information and an opportunity to see stars through his telescope. We met our guide/assistant in a dark parking lot, and we walked through a school sports field. Chairs were aligned in a semi circle with a blanket on each seat. The instructor sat in front of the group but it was too dark to actually see him. You also had to listen closely to hear him. Large telescopes were positioned behind the chairs for groups of 5-6 people. We listened to explanations/descriptions, and then we walked to the telescope to try to observe. The assistant came around to each group to try to help us. Saw some interesting things but not something we would visit again
