In the morning, we will collect you from the port of Kusadasi and begin our journey to Ephesus. Ephesus was a city of great significance in the Roman Empire, second in size only to Rome with a population of over 250,000 in the 1st BC. More than just a city, it was also a major port and its grandeur was such that the entire city was constructed entirely of marble. Did you know that Ephesus boasted the world’s largest amphitheater accomodating over 25,000 spectators? Next, we’ll explore the Ephesus Museum.
