Highlights
  • Ancient City of Ephesus - Ephesus is one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman ancient cities in the world, renowned for the Odeon where music concerts were held; the Domitian Temple, one of the first temples dedicated to a human; the Celcius Library, the third-largest library of ancient times; the Amphitheatre, one of the largest in the world with a capacity of 24,000 people where St. Paul preached; Roman Baths; Fountains; Temples; Agora; Love House; and Public Toilets. Consider us your Ephesus map!
  • Meryemana (The Virgin Mary’s House) - The House of Virgin Mary is a pilgrimage center for Christians, believed to be where Virgin Mary spent her last days and died. Pope Paul VI visited the shrine in 1967 and ‘unofficially’ confirmed its authenticity. Pope John Paul II visited in 1979, and Pope Benedict XVI in 2006. They left gifts at the shrine, which you can see without needing an Ephesus map because we are here for you.
  • The Temple of Artemis - One of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Artemis Temple of Ephesus symbolized the city’s wealth and influence and played a central role in its religious and cultural life. Its destruction by fire in the 4th century BC was a tragic loss, but its grandeur and significance are still remembered today. It is outside the Ephesus map zone.
  • Kusadasi Bazaar - At the Kusadasi or Selcuk Bazaar, you can explore local cultural items. If you’re not interested, you’ll still have time to discover the town. When you check the Ephesus map, there’s a good chance you’ll find new cultural insights.
  • Kusadasi - Kusadasi Castle, also known as Pigeon Island, is located next to the port. You can see it from your boat or visit it after disembarking. It is outside the Ephesus map zone!

Ephesus Tour Day - Our guide Erdem was wonderful. On this beautiful day, he told us about the ancient city of Ephesus, one of the most important cities in Roman history, decorated with wonderful structures, as if we were there in a time machine. It was an incredible visual feast with its library and temples. If you want to take this tour, I definitely recommend this company and Erdem.

Would recommend Ephesus Tour - We would recommend this trip without hesitation. It is expensive but worth it. You have to pay that bit extra for quality. I think the key to this is two-fold: Caglar the manager at Tour . He patiently answered every question I asked by WhatsApp in the days before our trip and at the end when we arrived back in Erdem, edy for short, our local tour guide in Ephesus who picked us up with the driver Salim in Kusadasi port and who was just brilliant with his knowledge and attention to our specific interests.

Breathtaking history - Endless thanks to our guide Erdem, who explained a truly breathtaking history. I think Ephesus is a place everyone should see at least once in their life. It is a very important city from classical Hellenic culture to early Christian history. I recommend our guide and tour provider who served us very well. Me and my wife had a lot of fun.
