Following a brief trip, you’ll be standing in the Sacred Place where Virgin Mary spent her final years. Pope Paul VI made a visit in 1967 and later designated Mary’s house as a Christian pilgrimage site. In the not-so-distant past, the House of the Virgin Mary welcomed Pope John Paul II in 1979, and most recently, it was visited by Pope Benedict XVI in 2006.

EXCELLENT way to see Ephesus! - Great guide, fantastic day - the only way to see Ephesus! Enjoyed our day with Necdet from "Have a Travel". who brought the history to life and made the experience interesting to all of us! We were met at the pier by Necdet and escorted to a luxury van with cold water for all and air conditioning. Very professional! The included lunch followed a demonstration at the carpet weaver and was excellent!! We did not need a visa for the day, the ship provided a paper proving that we were authorized for the day. Be sure to include Mary's house if given the option. Our full day tour for 6 people, cost less than the cost for 2 of the ship's tour and we saw more, and didn't have to be rushed around with 30 other people. Now we'll use them for all our Turkey adventures!

Miss Oztas - It was the one of the most lovely activity we done as a couple!! I suggest everyone to go and visit our guide was very informative and he could answer every possible questions we had. Thank you very much!! Can’t wait to be back in 2020.
