Highlights
  • Jeongbang Waterfall - This iconic waterfall on Jeju Island is the only one in Asia that cascades directly into the sea. Visitors can even dip their feet in the water. The Chinese characters “Seobulgwacha” are inscribed on the rock wall of Jeongbang Falls. Legend has it that an envoy of Emperor Qin Shi Huang came to Yeongju Mountain (now Hallasan Mountain) in Jeju to find “Bulocho” and took turns engraving words on the rock wall, but the rock was broken by a typhoon. The area around Jeongbang Falls is rocky, so visitors must tread carefully. While descending the stairs is easy, climbing back up can be challenging. The waterfall is especially picturesque when rainbows appear, adding to its natural beauty.

  • Oedolgae - Oedolgae Rock (Lonely Rock)

Oedolgae is steeped in a tragic love legend. In a seaside village in Seogwipo-si, a couple lived with their child. One day, the father went fishing but was caught in a storm and drowned. The mother waited on the beach every day for decades until she turned to stone, holding her baby. When the father’s body washed ashore, he too turned to stone, with his legs submerged in the sea. Visitors can see the father’s feet in the water behind the stone figure of the mother.

  • Daepo Haean Jusangjeolli Cliff - These columnar joints are vertical, quadrangular-shaped pillars that look as if they were meticulously carved. They were formed by the rapid cooling and contraction of thick lava flows. The hexagonal stone pillars, stacked like stairs, create a natural wonder. The waves crashing against the pillars can be spectacular, sometimes soaring over 20 meters high. The Jusangjeolli Cliffs along the Jungmun-Daepo Coast are 30 to 40 meters high and about 1 km wide, making them the largest in Korea and designated as Jeju Island Natural Monument No. 443.

  • Yongmeori Beach - Located at the foot of Sanbangsan Mountain, Yongmeori Coast resembles a dragon’s head dipping into the sea. The sandstone rocks, shaped by waves over tens of millions of years, form unique cliffs. The hollow “oyster room” and wave-carved rock walls evoke a sense of ancient history. The dramatic 30-50 meter cliffs have been featured in commercials and movies.

  • O’sulloc Tea Museum - Opened in September 2001, the O’sulloc Tea Museum showcases tea-related items from Korea and abroad. It blends Eastern and Western traditions in a nature-friendly space. Visitors can learn about green tea and traditional Korean tea culture, and enjoy a relaxing cup of tea in the green tea fields. The museum offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.

  • Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road - Located on the northwest side of Jeju Island, Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road is known for its offshore wind farm. The white windmills and emerald waters along the winding shoreline create a picturesque autumn landscape. It’s also one of the best spots on Jeju to watch the sunset, so don’t forget your camera!

  • Hyeopjae Beach - Hyeopjae Beach, located in Hallim-eup, Jeju-si, is a must-visit on the west side of Jeju Island. Part of Jeju Olle Course 14, it is adjacent to Geumneung Beach. The emerald waters and silver sandy beach, filled with shells, offer a healing experience. At low tide, the beach stretches endlessly.

  • Songaksan Mountain - 송악산 (Songaksan Mountain’s peak)
Songaksan Mountain features a cinder cone and a tuff ring, with a peak that is 69 meters deep and well-preserved. Once known only to archaeologists, it is now a popular tourist destination. The mountain was used as a Japanese base during WWII, and remnants of airfields, hangars, and anti-aircraft artillery can still be seen. Coastal trenches below the cliffs pose falling hazards.

  • Handam Coastal Trail - Also known as Gwakgeum Olle Trail, this 1.2 km promenade stretches from Aewol Port to Gwakji Gwamul Beach. The trail offers stunning coastal views and is one of Jeju City’s 31 hidden gems. The black lava rocks and winding path make for an enjoyable walk. Located on the west side of Jeju Island, it’s a great spot to watch the sunset. The trail is also known as the path of the divers.

  • Dongmun Market - Explore Jeju’s traditional markets at Dongmun Market. Sample a variety of foods and experience the daily life of Jeju residents. This bustling market offers a unique glimpse into Jeju culture.

Awesome experience in Jeju - Making memories w my daughter is very important. We have been planning on visiting Korea for almost a year. We decided to go to Jeju Island. While doing a search for tour guides, I came across Mr. Ko and read his reviews and took a chance. I’m so glad we did. Mr. Ko was very knowledgeable of the places we went to. He was very polite, charming, kind and easy tot all to. He was very attentive and if he didn’t know how to say things in English he would use the translator. He was flexible, energetic and took the time to walk w us during our tour. If we ever come back we will definitely use him again. I will also be recommending him to family and friends. Thank you Mr Ko.

Great private tour! Ko... - Great private tour! Ko picked us up from our hotel approximately 15 mins early and was willing to adjust our tour locations to accommodate more sites, which were not on this tour. Also, he went over the allotted 8 hours and didn’t ask for more money. He was a great driver and photographer! If you book this tour, Ko is excellent and constantly asking if you are happy.

Mr. Ko is the Best! - Mr. Ko was the absolute best! He was a great guide - we had a list of places to see, and after our first stop, we told him forget our list, we trust wherever he wanted to take us. He was so friendly, and knowledgeable. When we had a little difficulty with communication, Google Translate came to our rescue (he also had a translation app). The thing that blew us away though, was his photography skills. Mr. Ko knew exactly where we needed to be to capture some amazing shots. He was very handy (and knowledgeable) with our phone camera (way more than I did). The pictures he took of us were absolutely stunning! We would highly recommend a tour with Mr. Ko.

Jeju Island Private Jumbo Taxi Tour (3 Days) - West, South and East of Jeju Island - My friends and I was having a wonderful and memorable holiday in Jeju, thanks to Mr Ko Suhong. Mr Ko's knowledge and excellent services ranked far more than just a Jumbo Taxi Driver. He is our super guide n professional photographer. Based on our guidelines, he planned an amazing itinerary for us and is very accommodating to changes due to our energy level. He took beautiful pictures at scenic spots by directing our poses to ensure they turned out well. We had so much fun posing while he clicked away. Best of all, he brought us to non-touristy and not so crowded places to try their local delicacies that only " the locals go". The meals were fabulous and value for money. We enjoyed moving around Jeju in his clean and comfortable Jumbo Taxi as he drives carefully and knows the places well. His Engish is acceptable as he explains himself quite well in this own way. He lives up to his motto "If you are happy, I am happy". I will not hesitate to recommend his services to my friends if they are visiting Jeju Island.

3-Day Private Tour in Jeju - We booked Mr Ko for a 3-day private tour that took us to the West, South and East of Jeju. We started off giving him a list of places we wanted to visit and he used that as a guide to ensure we get to see these places plus some others not included in our itinerary. The best of the entire tour were the lunch places he brought us to, mostly patronised by locals. The black pork bbq, spicy braised catlissfish were exceptional. Prices were reasonable, high quality and great value for money. Mr Ko is moderately conversant in English, plus with the language translation app, Papago, we had no problems communicating at all! And as a bonus, Mr Ko is a pro when it comes to photography, he can turn boring shots into colourful and interesting ones! We had alot of fun touring Jeju with Mr Ko and we highly recommend his service. He is very service oriented, friendly and jovial. His motto is "If my customers are happy, I'm happy"! Which he repeated many times during our days together. 😊

Great Experience - Mr. Ko was super considerate! He adjusted the itinerary so he could bring us to all the places farther from our hotel; that way we wouldn’t have to worry about getting there on our own. Highly recommend!

The best taxi tour I could ask for! - Mr. Ko was an amazing tour guide! He drove us to so many places around Jeju, took great pictures, and picked us up at the airport and dropped us off at our hotel. He even waited patiently when the airline lost my luggage >.<
