Highlights
  • Jeongbang Waterfall - This is the representative waterfall of Jeju Island. It is the only waterfall in Asia that falls from land to the sea. It is a place where you can dip your feet in the water. Seobulgwacha” was written in Chinese characters on the rock wall of Jeongjang Falls. There was a legend that Jin Si-hwang’s envoy came to Yeongju Mountain (now Hallasan Mountain) in Jeju Island to find “Bulocho” and took turns engraving words on the rock wall, but the rock was broken due to the typhoon.Jeongbang Falls has many rocks, so you have to walk very carefully under your feet Also, it is easy to go down the stairs, but it is very hard to go up around. It is the only natural waterfall in Asia that falls into the sea, and when there are many photographs and rainbows, it creates even more beautiful scenery - Oedolgae - Oedolgae Rock(Lonely rock) There is a sad legend about love handed down in Oedolgae. Once upon a time, in a seaside village in Seogwipo-si, a couple lived with a child. One day father went fishing to the sea. His father met a storm and the boat overturned and died. He sank into the sea, but his father did not return, so She waited on the beach like every day for decades before turning to stone and dying. It is in the form of grandmother and is standing carrying a baby. When his father heard the news, he floated over the sea and washed up to the beach to meet grandmother and turned into a stone. grandfather’s legs are submerged in the sea, so if you look into the sea behind grandmother, you can see grandfather’s feet. - Daepo Haean Jusangjeolli Cliff - Columnar joints are quadrangular-shaped pillars that look as if they were delicately carved with a sharp carving knife, and are vertical joints that appear in basaltic lava flows. It was formed as a result of the contraction of thick lava flowing from a crater and rapidly cooling. You can enjoy the mystery of nature as the hexagonal stone pillars standing on top of each other, like a stack of stairs, are surrounded like a folding screen. The waves crashing against the pillars are also a sight to behold, and in severe cases, a ‘show’ soaring more than 20m in height is unfolded, taking the viewer’s breath away. The Jusangjeolli Cliffs along the Jungmun-Daepo Coast are 30 to 40 m high and about 1 km wide, boasting the largest scale in Korea and designated as Jeju Island Natural Monument No. 443. - Yongmeori Beach - Yongmeori Coast is located at the foot of Sanbangsan Mountain and extends to the coast. It is called Yongmeori Coast because it resembles the head of a dragon going into the sea. Sandstone rocks that have been layered for tens of millions of years have been carved out by the waves to form a strange cliff. The oyster room, which is hollow like a secret room hit by waves, or the traces of waves kept by the rock wall, makes you feel the grandeur of facing a long history. The spectacular view of the 30-50m-long cliffs that curve like a meander has been filmed as a backdrop for commercials and movies. - Sanbangsan Mountain - Sanbangsan is a mountain in Sagye-ri, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do, Republic of Korea. The word ‘sanbang’ means a mountain with oysters. The height is 395m above sea level, and there is a sea cave at about 150m above sea level in the south, so it is called Sanbangsan. “Sanbang” means a mountain with a cave, and the Buddha is enshrined in a small cave under Sanbangsan Mountain, so this place is called “Sanbanggulsa.” The water drips here regardless of the day, and it is also called the tears of “Sanbangdeok,” the goddess of - O’sulloc Tea Museum - Opened in September 2001, O’sulloc Tea Museum is a museum with domestic and foreign tea-related items. It is a cultural space that harmonizes the traditions of the East and the West and the modern, as well as a nature-friendly resting space. It is a learning space where you can understand green tea and traditional Korean tea culture, where you can experience all things Sulloc tea. Taking pictures in the green tea field It is worth experiencing the feeling of green youth. How about making time for meditation for the whole family to relax and have a leisurely cup of tea? In the midst of busy life in the city We hope that this will be a time of recovery for the body and mind. - Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road - On the Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road that runs along the western end of Jeju Island, an offshore wind farm has been established, so you can see windmills lined up along the coastal road. The white windmills along the winding coastline and the emerald green sea give us a refreshing autumn scenery. From here to Chagwido Island in the distance. There are various sights to see on the blue sea. In particular, the Sinchang Coastal Road is one of the most beautiful sunset spots, so it is good to take pictures and enjoy the sunset. Also, if you drive along the coastal road, you can find a walking course called Ecology Experience Center. It is also famous as a filming location for drama bicycles. with sunset, Crossing the bridge with the wind generator while taking pictures, we went around the white lighthouse to see a walking path. Let’s take time to recover your body and mind. - Hyeopjae Beach - If you are asked to pick a beach worth visiting in the west of Jeju Island, Hyeopjae Beach is definitely the first or second place to recommend. Located in Hallim-eup, Jeju-si, it is part of Jeju Olle Course 14. It is also a twin beach adjacent to Geumneung Beach. Just looking at the sea light, as if emerald paint was gradually released into the transparent water, is healing. At low tide, the silver sandy beach with lots of shells continues endlessly. In front of the sea, there is ‘Biyangdo’ in the shape of a picture of an elephant swallowing a boa constrictor in The Little Prince. The sunset over Biyangdo Island and the sea is another spectacular sight that cannot be missed here. In summer, it is open at night, so you can enjoy the blue night of Jeju Island under the palm trees. Hyeopjae Beach has shallow waters with a gentle slope and a pine forest, making it a good vacation spot for families with children. - Hallim Park - Opened in 1971, Hallim Park was created by Song Bong-gyu, the founder, by cultivating a vast field in the Hallim area. It is a theme park consisting of nine themes: subtropical botanical garden, bonsai garden, folk village, palm tree path, cave, bird safari, pond garden, senior exhibition hall, and outdoor walking path. It is also a place where you can see various flowers that can be seen in Jeju every month. World celebrities such as former Chinese Prime Minister Jiang Zemin and former Japanese Prime Minister Nakasone have visited. It is a world famous attraction visited by more than 1 million domestic and foreign visitors every year. - Handam Coastal Trail - Handam Coastal Trail, also called Gwakgeum Olle Trail, is a promenade along the coast from Aewol Port to Gwakji Gwamul Beach. It is beautiful in harmony with the surrounding landscape. The total length is 1.2 km, and you can walk along the coastal road with waves splashing right next to it. It is also one of the 31 ‘hidden unexplored places in Jeju City’ announced by Jeju City in 2009 by selecting and announcing 31 representative places in Jeju City in addition to existing tourist attractions. Rocks of various strange shapes formed as lava hardened attract attention, and the winding road along the coast made of black rocks adds to the fun of the walk. It is located in the west of Jeju Island, so you can enjoy the beautiful sunset well, which is another attractive point of this place. Handam Walking Coastal Path is a beach road where divers go to get their supplies. It has a beautiful view and takes about 20 minutes. It is called the path of the divers. - Jeju Island - It is time to go back to the accommodation after finishing the sightseeing taxi tour. Fun but also relaxing activity - The intinerary of this trip is a great choice for someone who wishes to see most out of Jeju, bit does not wish to drive or hassle with public transport. This way you get to just enjoy the sights. Our driver was extremely kind and had offered to take photos of us on each location that we went to. He also told some interesting facts about the places we visited.

Good alternative for hiring a car on Jeju - We had a good 8.5hours trip with our driver who took us to all the sites as promised, and gave us sufficient time to enjoy each attraction. We had overstayed at one of the attractions, hence appreciated the option to skip lunch. The driver spoke very basic/minimal English, however was not lacking in enthusiasm, and was very willing to engage. The taxi itself was comfortable and air conditioned. Would recommend this experience.

Mr. Jo is Fantastic - Family and I went around West and South Jeju for a whole day trip with Mr. Jo. He has a kind demeanor and is fantastic!. He spoke enough English for us to navigate around. He came to pick us up promptly at our hotel and took us to the main attractions as listed. He recommended Black Pig for Korean BB for lunch and we liked the food. I would recommend Mr. Jo for a day trip to Jeju.

Must see sights of Jeju! - The whole day was so so memorable. My husband and I did a private tour. Our tour guide arrived right on time and An do seung greeted us enthusiastically. He explained what our day looked like and one spot we couldn’t go to because of the wind. He drove us safely to each destination and let me and my husband walk around and do as we please which was really nice. Our tour guide/driver made sure we were able to take many photos which was also great because when it’s just the two of us it’s hard to get nice photos. I highly recommend this tour guide to see some amazing, beautiful sights of Jeju. Even wihh the crazy rain, the day was incredible and would absolutely book again!

Short But Awesome! - Mr. Jo was waiting for us at the Jeju Airport. We appreciated his being on time as we were making this a day trip from Seoul. We enjoyed visiting the Osulloc tea museum, the Sinchang Windmill Coast, Jeolmul Natural Forest, Cheonjiyeon Falls, Daepo Jusangjeolli Cliff, Oedolgae and having a great lunch of Black Pork and other great food options. Mr Jo was so gracious and kind despite having a limited english vocabulary. His kindness extended to purchasing bacterial ointment and bandage for a knee injury sustained during the tour. We will never forget his kindness and enjoyed all the places he took us. A day trip from Seoul is possible but you might want to stay a while in Jeju as there is more to see.

Jeju in a nutshell - We enjoyed very much our tour of Jeju Island. Our tour guide Mr. Kim did not speak fluent English but with the help of an app we were able to better communicate with him. He showed us all the best spots on the island and explained the main characteristics of each place. We could not have seen all we saw on our own in the same amount of time. It was a great ride all over this beautiful island. I highly recommend.

Amazing tour of jeju - Mr. Kim was an amazing tour guide! He went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable tour. He was very knowledgeable about Jeju and even had a binder full of helpful information/FAQs about Jeju in English for his customers’ benefit. Because of the tide/maintenance of some significant cultural sites, we weren’t able to visit some places that were supposed to be part of our tour so he took us to some additional places based on our interests. He was thoughtful, thorough, and friendly. We would 10/10 recommend this tour with him!

Joyful Jeju - Our Driver Mr Lee was on time . Since we are only 4 in the group, he acted as our guide too. Very gentle man. He ensured we visited all the places and enjoy our visit. I think this is the only package offering a visit to the entire island. Since we have only one day, we wanted to visit the entire island and key attractions only. This tour has solved the purpose. Those who are staying for two days or more can opt for more attractions. If you get a driver / guide like Mr Hyundai Woo Lee, you are lucky.

If you’re an influencer & looking for content, Mr.K knows his angles - Mr.K was fantastic! My friend and I chose this tour because we wanted to be picked up at our hotel and dropped off at the airport. Mr.k was very friendly and a great photographer. I read reviews that he took a lot of pictures, but nothing could prepare me for the actual experience. Mr.k took thousands of pictures for my friend and I, we’re just two American girls who wanted fun photos for our personal Instagrams. By the end I was all pictured out! Mr.k did speak limited English, but Google translate worked well for specific communication. He had a book that went over every site we visited with a one page description. It was cool to learn the history of Jeju island. I would recommend this tour to someone who wants to see the island and have it documented! Mr.k definitely went above and beyond in taking pictures for my friend and I, make sure your phone storage is empty and your phone is charged. Also lunch was vegetarian friendly. It was a local buffet with a salad option. Definitely not vegan friendly tho.
