Highlights
  • Petite France - This charming French cultural village in Gapyeong is well-known as a filming location for popular Korean dramas and TV shows like Beethoven Virus, Secret Garden, My Love from the Stars, and Running Man. Petite France doubles as a French cultural village and a youth training facility, featuring 16 French-style buildings where visitors can stay and immerse themselves in French cuisine, fashion, and household culture. The village also boasts souvenir shops, cafes, restaurants, galleries, and museums, including the Orgel House.
  • Nami Island - Situated 63 km from Seoul, Nami Island is a half-moon-shaped isle that houses the grave of General Nami, who achieved a significant victory against rebels during the 13th year of King Sejo’s reign in the Joseon Dynasty. Renowned for its picturesque tree-lined roads, Nami Island is not only a famous filming location for “Winter Sonata” but also a cultural hub for local artists and creatives. The island hosts various cultural events, concerts, and exhibitions throughout the year, making it a popular retreat for couples, friends, and families looking to escape the city’s hustle and bustle. Visitors can reach the island by ferry or zip wire.
  • The Garden of Morning Calm - Open year-round, the 30,000㎡ Garden of Morning Calm is an ideal destination for families, couples, and photographers. Conceived by Professor Han Sang-kyung of Sahmyook University’s Gardening Department while he was an exchange professor in America, the garden aims to achieve global recognition and promote Korean beauty worldwide. This artistic space harmonizes the Korean concept of natural curves and asymmetry with plants and synthetic materials, drawing approximately 600,000 visitors annually. Scenic walkways, meticulously maintained lawns, and flower beds link the garden’s 20 distinct themed sections.

Fun for everyone! - This was by far my favorite trip. It was a long day, however, it was so much fun! Just be prepared to walk, and take 100s of pictures. The tour guide was very knowledgable and made sure we had enough time to visit and explore all those three places.

Highly recommended! - We booked this tour for our family of 5 and we had a private tour. We had a great tour guide named Jerry. He spoke English very well. He's very polite, helpful, and punctual. The tour started and ended on time and he even offered to bring us back to where we stayed even if it wasn't part of the package. The destinations were very nice. Jerry also helped us find cheap, but delicious restaurants that serve authentic Korean food. I would highly recommend this tour. It's also very affordable; it's relatively cheaper than other tours.

Nami Island, Petite France, and Garden of Morning Calm day tour - We had the most amazing time on this tour. We had Mr Kang as our tour guide and he was especially helpful in guiding us around, as well as providing a small commentary on the places we visited. The sites are truly gorgeous. We went in the winter and still found it quite magical. The Lighting festival was an unforgettable experience because of how pretty all the lights were. We highly recommend going on this tour if you come to Korea - you wont regret it.

Go during Spring or Autumn - Our guide was just adequate. He really did not do much except drop us off & wait for us to go around. However, never do this tour during the summer season. Just too HOT & that's coming from a person who lives in the Philippines.

Good experience - We were in a small group tour with Jerry, who served both as our driver and tour guide. Jerry was funny so the drives to the places to visit were not much boring. He have us a lot of time to go around the areas, most especially in Nami Island. The places we visited were, to be honest, quite underwhelming as it is mostly for people who like taking loads of photos. Still, my family and I had a good time.
