Perge served as Pamphylia’s capital. Our tour includes the Roman Baths, the Agora, Colonaded Street, Nympharium, and the stadium. Next, we head to the Aspendos Ancient Theatre.

This ancient theatre, exceptionally preserved and built in the 2nd century A.D., accommodates 15,000 spectators and continues to host festivals and music events.

After a lunch stopover at a nearby river restaurant, we move on to Side (pronounced Seeday). Considered one of Turkey’s finest classic ancient cities, Side was a principal port and the region’s largest slave market. Numerous buildings were erected in Side during Roman times, including a substantial theatre, Roman Baths, and the Temple of Apollo. Visiting a waterfall is subject to timing.

Walk in Ancient Greece, outside its borders! - While I was there for a conference, we were given the choice of various day trips - Oh my God, it was amazing! It's as if you walk next to the Trojan heros, in these well-maintained sites! I would recommend to get a tour guide to show you around if you don't know a lot about histrory. When in Perge, don't forget to get your souvenirs from the market outside the side: at the far end left-side table there is a young lady selling these magnificent hand-made traditional Turkish mugs. Each is made by locals of Antalya and each of the numbers under the mug corresponds to an artist! !! An excellent souvenir or a gift you can take back home.

A day in the life of the Romans, an unforgettable experience. - We booked this tour with Ice Travel in Side, were picked up dot on time and taken by minibus to Perge. What a fantastic ancient city with so many fascinating sites, baths, nymphaeum, agoras, stadium, avenues, gates, towers, and our guide, Murat, made everything very interesting with his profound historical knowledge and total fluency in English an German. Even some Norwegian was in his repertoar. Afterwards there was a kind of interval in a forest-clad waterfall area, a total contrast to the flat and open Perge site. After a delicious lunch in a rural restaurant close to a beautiful river, we arrived in Aspendos, to marvel over the Roman amphitheater, so well preserved you would think it almost impossible after 2000 years. No more wild animalsk to fight, but still open for concerts sitting an audience of 15000. In the end we went to have a look at the remnants of one of the famous Roman aquaducts, the ancient water transport system, and a 13.th century bridge built on the remnants of a Roman bridge. A day we'll never forget.

It is the way ti see ancient towns of Pamphylia - If you are interested in ancient places, you really have to go to Pamphylia. And we found this trip as something really well organized with a really great guide. Even the lunch at really good restaurant with a great view on the dramatic scene of Aspendos ruins over the river.

Day trip to Perge, Aspendos, Side & Manavgat Waterfall with lunch featuring Berfin - Top notch service i must say! They contacted me 1 days before my trip and informed me details about my pickup time. They were on time to pick me up and drop us on time, pickup and drop off was from my hotel. It was 14-16 people trip in a minivan, so we were kinda comfortable and had more communication. I loved every bit of it, we started at perge and then to aspendos ruins & theatre followed by lunch by the river restaurant. And then we went to side , there were markets, shops, beach, sea side and also a village. After that we went to manavgat waterfall, it was not a tall one but a very beautiful one to see and take pictures at. After that we were drop out at our hotels. The best thing of the trip that i should mention is our guide Berfin, she was a sweet , charming lady, with full of knowledge about the places we visit, explained and described us every details about the places we visit, provided us enough free leisure time. I would definitely recommend everyone “ U can travel” and must recommend berfin ! Cheers

In The Middle of History - After the excellent experience we had on the Pamukkale tour, it was impossible not to try another tour. Antalya is a place with so much historical and natural beauty that people want to experience it all, but unfortunately our holiday also has an end. If you want to experience a mix of completely ancient and natural beauties, you should definitely try, thanks for everything "U Can Travel".

Great trip - Our guide was very knowledgeable, the trip would not have been as enjoyable without his information and explanation to the sites. Lunch was much better then we expected. An overall great experience.

Whole lot of ruins and lots of history - Ruins from AD 127 If you're into your history, then it's worth a look at the old Ancient city. It is pretty big and lots of information written regarding this place. It wasn't really my thing, but family wanted to go, so i went a long too.
