Additional Information

Sesimbra, a port town situated within more than 40 km of the Atlantic coast, boasts golden beaches where fishing traditions and tourist pursuits exist in harmony.

Arrábida signifies a blend of mountains, rivers, oceans, renowned coastlines, and globally recognized bays. A stroll through its streets reveals signs of historical opulence, reflected in an extensive array of built-up heritage sites, palaces, museums, holy places, military structures, and fountains. The mountain stands as a protected area due to its variety of wildlife and greenery, and is celebrated for its exceptional beaches.

Setúbal serves as a key port and trading zone, with fishing constituting the primary activity. A magnificent central garden beautifies the main avenue, which is also adorned with numerous local stores and characteristic restaurants serving fresh fish, shellfish, and the regional favorite - fried cuttlefish.

Azeitão takes pride in its wine, especially that produced by José Maria da Fonseca Wine Cellars, one of the oldest in the country. They are producers of the well-known ‘Periquita’ wine as well as the Setúbal Muscat.
