Highlights
  • Real Alcazar de Sevilla - Meet your expert local guide and begin your tour with special VIP early access to one of Seville’s most famed sites. Getting in before the usual crowds will allow you to soak up the majesty of this ancient structure and its breathtaking gardens in peace. Your guide will tell you about the fascinating history behind one of the world’s oldest palaces still in use, including its appearance in the hit television series Game of Thrones.
  • Barrio Santa Cruz - A neighborhood truly frozen in time, the old Jewish Quarter is a must on any Seville sightseeing list. In the company of an expert guide, you won’t have to worry about getting lost in its winding, Medieval streets. Instead you can focus on the story behind this unique quarter, birthplace of the famous Spanish painter Velázquez. Try traditional Spanish cookies from one of the few remaining historic convents in the city. This is a real hidden gem most tourists miss.
  • Torre Giralda - If you wish, your entry ticket to the Seville cathedral allows you to climb to the top of the Giralda tower for impressive views of the city. It’s an iconic landmark in the city first constructed as a minaret for a mosque in the 11th century and converted to a bell tower in the 16th century.
  • Catedral de Sevilla - As the largest Gothic cathedral in the world, a tour inside Seville’s cathedral is the perfect last stop for this tour. Discover where Christopher Columbus is laid to rest, see the world’s largest altarpiece, and explore the many small chambers within.

Definitely Worth Getting Up Early For! - Getting to see the Alcazar before it opened to the public was an incredible experience! I wish we had more time there - 90 minutes wasn’t enough to see it all. Our guide, Clara, was knowledgeable, entertaining, and did a great job with timing - restroom, snack, finding shady spots for us to stand or sit in. You could tell she really loved her job! Cathedral was interesting as well. We got 30 min free time inside to climb the tower. It was ramps and not a million stairs so that was great. The view was incredible. Clara took us around the inside of the cathedral as well, showed us all the highlights.

Fantastic tour with the wonderful Rachel - This tour is one of the best we have ever done. The early private access to the Alcazar is an absolute must and the best way to experience this magnificent ancient castle without the excessive crowds. Sevilla is a beautiful city with a rich history. I have to especially mention our terrific guide Rachel ( Raquel) who is one of the main reasons why our experience was so wonderful. She is knowledgeable, warm, charming and such a great host. You can tell how much she loves her home town of Sevilla. 200 out of 100 marks to her!!

Must Do in Seville - Our tour and another Walks tour had the Real Alcazar to ourselves for an hour- the experience was unreal. Would absolutely recommend it - especially after seeing the ridiculous line of people waiting to get in when we walked by later in the day. The full day tour gave a great overview of the city and the guide was fantastic. I will 100% recommend this Walk to anyone visiting Seville

Loved learning about Sevilla from an expert - We really enjoyed this tour with Clara. It’s an early start but that’s very welcome as much cooler early morning, and it meant we could fit so much in at a relaxed pace. The early entry to the Alcazar well worth it as it is so much more peaceful and makes it so much easier to appreciate the different rooms and areas within, including uninterrupted photo opportunities. It was noticeable towards the end in the gardens when the general public started to come in. Clara was a a lovely personable guide, enthusiastic and proud of her city. She was a fount of historical context for everything we saw. The stroll through the Jewish quarter was another highlight. The taster from the convent bakery was enjoyable. In fact we went back for more to try some different treats. They have a variety of small local cakes to try. We loved the Plaza de España despite it being relatively modern compared to other sites. Clara gave a lot of interesting facts pertaining to its design. It was getting hotter by this time but Clara made sure the pace wasn’t rushed and we had shady rest stops wherever possible. The final stop in the Cathedral is impressive. Clara gave everyone some time to explore ourselves and then took us back in to talk about some of the highlights. We thought we would be exhausted after a six hour walking tour but the time flew by. Highly recommend this tour.
