Visit to Cordoba - Cordoba, the city where 3 religions coexisted: Muslims, Christians and Jews. And what better guide than Maria! to present the city beautifully and in 3 languages (Spanish, Italian, English). We were a large mixed group and we were all delighted with it.

Bad start but great tour - Like other reviews the organisation at the meeting point was chaotic and meant we got under way 40 minutes late. Despite this the tour was great. Leon was a fantastic guide, extremely helpful and did everything he could to ensure everyone enjoyed the tour. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The guide that took us around the mosque - cathedral was also excellent.

Beautiful Mosque-Cathedral! - Booked this trip thru Viator. My wife & me almost were going to miss the trip as the guide missed in calling out our names in the meeting place. We had to run behind him to have it checked again & finally got into the bus. Our guide was Jesus. He’s funny & provided explanations about the history but we had difficulty in understanding him sometimes because of his accent. These places have no public toilets so need to go to restaurants & order something to access the restrooms. We loved the mosque-cathedral tour which was conducted by a local guide, Laura.

Save Your Money - This experience was one of the worst tours I have been on in my life. I went on a fair number of tours while in Spain and this one was absolutely the worst. Our tour guide, Maria, was rude, standoffish, and unable to answer any of our questions about the history behind the locations. Carmona is a quiet town that you don’t need to visit. As the tour starts early in the morning, all the shops are closed except for two coffee shops. We had free time to roam around a ghost town. Upon arriving in Cordoba, we had a two hour walking tour of the city. However as I said before María is not coherent and does not know the history. She did have to give the tour in three languages (English, Spanish, and Italian) which I can acknowledge is challenging. She spent exponentially more time explaining in Spanish and Italian with the shortest commentary in English (15 min in Spanish vs. 5 in English). We have free time to wander around the time which is nice but there are very small streets so be careful not to get lost! The Cathedral-Mosque was a let down as well. Don’t have high expectations, it is essentially a bunch of building expansions. Maria did not even give us the tour she handed it off to a local guide who conducted the tour in Spanish and English which took twice the time. However, the local guide was knowledgeable and able to answer questions. Overall, this trip is extremely lengthy for no reason. If I had to do it again I would have done a half-day tour with only one language so as not to spend the day waiting for translations in all other languages.
