Highlights
  • Seward - We begin our tour, with a short tour of Seward and the surrounding area. Learn about the history of the 1964 Earthquake and view the incredible Scenic landscape of this remote port town.
  • Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center - Guaranteed Wildlife viewing, including a great cause to support. The AWCC is one of our guest’s favorite places. We are up close and personal with bears, moose, elk, muskox, wolves and more.
  • Portage Glacier - Enjoy incredible scenic views and see the hanging glaciers in the Portage Valley. We will end at Portage Lake before heading to Byron Glacier
  • Byron Glacier Trail - A beautiful and scenic short guided walk along Byron Glacier Trail that follows the river, up to edge of Byron Glacier itself. This trail is accessible for most guests. Please ask about alternative if needed.
  • Girdwood - After a full day of activities, we stop in Girdwood for an optional lunch at one of our favorite local restaurants- great food, prices and local flavor ( Have we mentioned the incredible chowder?)
  • Turnagain Arm Drive - Considered one of the most beautiful drives in the United States. Driving from Seward to Anchorage along the Turnagain Arm is breathtaking, we often stop for pictures, wildlife sightings and if we’re lucky in timing, the bore tide.
  • Beluga Point - Beluga Point is one of the best opportunities to see Dahl Sheep on the mountains and if we’re lucky, the Bore Tire and Beluga Whales during the later summer.
  • Anchorage - As we’re headed into Anchorage and dropping our guests off at their preferred locations, we love to share a bit of the cities highlights and attractions and share some recommendations of other activities and great restaurants.

Tour shuttle from Seward to Anchorage. - Our guide was extremely knowledgeable on the area. As well as personally helpful on getting us set up for things to do on the rest of the trip. They also stopped a a wonderful place for lunch, not the usual overpriced under feeding cafes. We recommend these folds 100%. PS they have plenty of pottery stops so don’t fall for the we are the only ones with bathrooms on board.

Great alternative to the Alaska Railroad - My train from Seward to Anchorage was cancelled last minute and I didn't want to just take a shuttle bus so i searched for a small group tour and this one did not disappoint! James was absolutely wonderful. He was so educational and so funny. It was a small group of 11 people which was perfect. I was bummed when I got the alert that my train was cancelled but after that tour, I'm glad I went. 10/10 would recommend!

Fantastic personalized trip! - James offered us a fantastic, personalized experience! We appreciated the thoughtful touches- toilet paper and hand sanitizer for the the rest stops, Bear spray for the hike (saw a bear!) and good communication to arrange pickup. We will use him again!

Advertised itinerary is much more than Actual one…. - The Sprinter is full and quite tight in space; a regular big bus would be more comfortable for such loner trip; but I guess this is my fault to think we would have more space since it’s more expensive. No tram and lunch option? Driver doesn’t know anything about that. It’s just a lunch stop at a restaurant…… No walking visit to the glacier…… Basically only stop at the wildlife center and lunch and a few photo/bathroom stops…..not exactly what I think it should be according to the advertised itinerary….. but may be it’s my misunderstanding…….. I will recommend just take four hour the big bus to go from port to Anchorage with only the wildlife center stop with ant bus transfer company.
