  • Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum - The museum is the commemorative site of the former Ohel Moishe Synagogue, was once the religious ceremonial center for the exiled Jewish refugees during the World War II. The museum features documents, photographs, films and other personal items documenting people’s day-to-day lives at the time. On the walls of the entrance, you can see photos of the surviving refugees. Inside, some articles of daily use and religious articles full of Jewish culture, as well as historical records about the Nazis persecuting Jewish are on exhibit.
  • The Bund - The Bund is a famous waterfront on the west bank of Huangpu River and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai. Here, the charm of Shanghai as a bustling metropolis combining the century-old history and flourishing future is fully presented, making the Bund Shanghai a must-see attraction.   • Shanghai Museum (Shanghai Bowuguan) - Though Shanghai is known to most visitors as a modern metropolis, it possesses a profound history and culture. Shanghai Museum is for you to take in this point. It is a large museum of ancient Chinese art. Bronze wares, ceramics, coins, jade articles, sculptures, seals, and calligraphy and paintings from different dynasties are gathered here. Among all collections, the most treasured one is the Dake Bronze Tripod dating back to the Western Zhou Dynasty.
  • Longhua Temple - Longhua Temple is the oldest temple in Shanghai for its long history of over 1,700 years. Besides its long history, Longhua Temple is the largest temple in Shanghai. It occupies an area of over 20,000 square meters (five acres) and the architectural proportion is about 5,000 square meters (1.2 acres). The whole courtyard was built strictly in the style of traditional Buddhist symmetry and it’s in accordance with the Chinese concept of beauty.
  • Xujiahui Catholic Church - The official name is St. Ignatius Cathedral, which was built in 1896 during Qing Dynasty. As an international church in Shanghai, it used to be called ‘The largest Cathedral in the far east’, which is now referred to as ‘the Cathedral on Sheshan’. The building is in a Gothic style. The top is 50 meters high and is quite unique among the skyscrapers of the city.
  • Shanghai Circus World - Shanghai Circus World, regarded as China’s ‘No. 1 Circus World’ is located in Jing’an District. It has a distinctive architecture with a splendid golden vault and can seat an audience of 1638. The advanced stage facilities, lighting and sound equipment enable it to be a comprehensive performance site, which holds domestic and international circus programs, acrobatics, singing and dancing performances as well as the Shanghai International Magic Festival & Competition.
