Old Town (Nanshi) - Next, head to Old Town Bazaar, a top site in Shanghai that still preserves its traditional Ming and Qing Dynasty architecture. Have fun exploring, check out the lively old street and bazaar market, and cross the lucky ring bridge in the middle lake while soaking in the ancient charm. You may also enjoy some souvenir shopping here if needed.

Yu Garden (Yuyuan) - Then, visit the 500-year-old Yu Garden, once a private garden owned by a Ming Dynasty official. It is one of the best-preserved classic Chinese gardens along the sea. Enjoy a tranquil exploration of the elegant garden, designed with exquisite rockeries, ponds, pavilions, flowers, and trees, while learning about its fascinating culture and customs from your guide.

Pudong New Area - Continue the tour to Pudong New Island, which has developed from a small swamp into the hub of the world’s financial area. Take a walk on the skybridge along the “Forest of Skyscrapers” and marvel at some of the amazing world-class towers such as the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Shanghai Tower, and Jinmao Tower. You could choose to visit one of the top observation decks on a clear day to enjoy the spectacular view of mega Shanghai. Based on the time and your interests, you are free to choose other popular attractions such as: 1) Former French Concession; 2) Jade Buddha Temple; 3) People’s Square/Park; 4) Nanjing Road; 5) Museums such as Shanghai Museum, Jewish Museum, Urban Planning Museum, etc. After the great tour, you will be dropped off at the airport for your connecting departure flight or at your city hotel if you are staying overnight.
