Trip highlight! - The tour at Roam was the highlight of our trip to the Olympic Peninsula! Jodi, Reanna, and the rest of the team have built a beautiful sanctuary for their wolfdogs. They clearly hold the wolfdogs’ wellbeing as their top priority. It was a pleasure to visit a sanctuary with such happy animals. The facility is modern, with a lovely office and gift shop where we received complimentary tea, coffee, cocoa, and bottled water. The paths throughout the sanctuary were easy to walk and tidy, over a flat terrain. We took this tour with our with my eight-year-old stepdaughter. There was a younger child on the tour as well. All guests, old and young, were engaged throughout the 1.5-hour-tour. We slowly walked the path that weaved through the large enclosures and stopped to learn about each wolfdog at the sanctuary and lots of facts about wolves and wolfdogs. At the end of the tour, Reanna brought one wolfdog, Riggs, out of his enclosure so we could have a closer look. He seemed happy to come out of his enclosure and comfortable around humans. I know a fair amount about environmental conservation and ecosystems, but I still learned a lot about wolves, their importance to ecosystems, and wolf conservation. My husband, stepdaughter, and I are excited to return! I’ll be recommending Roam to friends and family, too.

Great new experience in Shelton - Truly memorable experience. Passionate owners, excellent information, fascinating to see them in their habitats. Well thought out and presented. Fun to see the personalities of the animals. Great to better understand the threats to wolves in the wild and how they are useful, necessary parts of the overall environment.

Outstanding Trip!! - We went Saturday to Roam Wolfdog Sanctuary in Shelton, WA and were met by Jodi and Troy. It was a wonderful experience. We left more informed and with an even deeper passion for the wolfdogs and the sanctuary. From the beauty of the pack, the stories of the wolf dogs, & the education made this a total package trip.

One of a kind experience! - Roam is such a magical and unique place to visit! You can tell how passionate the owners are about their mission. You leave feeling well informed on wolfdogs and wolves in the wild. As well as, in awe from how beautiful the facility is! All wolfdogs are happy, healthy, and they’re situated in HUGE enclosures that allow them to get all their zoomies out and just enough space to be able to do anything. It’s amazing being able to observe them and how they interact with one another. It’s also interesting to see the different personalities they have. They even have an interactive area where you are able to see one of their ambassadors up close. Best part is being able to hear them all howl! Riggs, one of their ambassadors as a stump he jumps on to start his howl. It is the cutest thing! Roam is truly one of a kind and an experience I will remember forever!

A completely new, wonderful experience. - Why they aren't doing a reality show about these caring and interesting people who are devoting their lives to wolf education and rescue. This is my first time at an experience like this. I really was not expecting anything all that interesting or enlightening, but boy was l wrong. These people are the real deal. Don't be expecting some staged wolf habitat at the zoo. You walk amongst them and meet their ambassadors. It's safe, enjoyable and worthwhile. I'll return.

Why doesn't everyone visit? - This place needs more publicity. I loved it and so did the family. Why? Because you really learn about wolves and can even meet their ambassador up close. . What a treat.

Educational! - This is an incredible experience and we learned so much from the Owner and her staff on our private tour! Generously sharing their knowledge and daily experiences about caring for these intelligent and beautiful wolves is awe inspiring! What a generous gift to our community to be able to visit these rescued animals who are being responsibly sheltered.. Any adult with an interest in understanding their role in our environment and the importance of protecting this endangered species should visit and support this facility.. And it was fun to see how playful these wolves are, and listen to them HOWL!! Go Visit!,,
