Great Night in Shinjuku - Our evening with Ken was wonderful! He provided a private tour exploring Shinjuku Izakayas and sharing wonderful authentic Japanese experiences. Ken customized our tour to accommodate us (one vegetarian) and took us to local hangouts rather than touristy spots. If you want a private, custom tour - this is the best company and guide!

Great food tour - We had a great time with Ken and Ginga. Enjoyed really good food but also preparing i ourselves. Not only learned qbout the Japanese food but also culture and habits. Ken helped us even afterwards with selecting and making the reservation at a great sushi restaurant. When we will back we certainly will book with Ken again!

Fabulous experience! - I can’t rave enough about our evening with Yosuke! He was amazing! He was enthusiastic, entertaining, knowledgeable and not only that, his English was fantastic! We started the evening with dinner which was a delicious okonomiyaki (savory pancake like omelette) that we cooked on a griddle in front of us. Then we were shown through the busy energetic streets and some narrow, more nostalgic streets with tiny restaurants and bars. We stopped at an izakaya for yakatori (skewered chicken) after which we walked by gachapon (vending machines with toys and collectibles), karaoke bars, a shrine, the red light district and so much more! We stopped at a photo booth -which the Japanese take to a whole other level!-and ended the evening at a sake bar. The evening was a real plunge into the Japanese culture of today. I had done a lot of research on which food tour to take and I am happy to say that it paid off! Yosuke was an extraordinary guide and the evening turned out to be one of the best of our whole trip to Japan. I would highly recommend it!! As a side note, the first meal was covered, the yakatori and sake bar were an additional cost, however it was so much fun and well worth it!!

First night experience in Shinjuku - Went to an Izakaya with Yoshuko our guide and he had us cook our own food and had a ball. Then went to a games building where he showed us how he had fun before going to an out of the way bar for drinks and snacks. We finished with a Sake tasting experience. Enjoyed the whole experience and it was excellent with just our guide and my wife and I on the tour. Recommend again for anyone wanting to experience the local ways.

MAKE GREAT HOST, GREAT FOOD AND WONDERFUL MEMORIES! - Highly recommend this tour! We had so much fun exploring Shinjuku with Yosuke. He took us to restaurants and a sake tasting we could have never done on our own. We dined at restaurants that were not tourist spots. It was so much fun to be in an environment that was enjoyed by the locals. The variety of foods we tried were delicious and we were able to make food choices as well from the menus. The sake tasting was amazing, definitely not the sake we have had in the states. Lots of laughs were had at the Photo Booth experience. Great choice! Yosuke has such a charming and enthusiastic way about him that is electric. He answered all our questions that varied on many topics, all the while smiling and making us laugh, a lot! If you want to enjoy a wonderful evening then definitely book this tour, you will make great memories.

Amazing time, super accommodating, making sure to have fun - Sam was amazing. He was all about making a fun experience for us. He started the evening an hour later at our request so that our nephew who lives in Japan could join us after work. Had a great time trying new dishes, sake tasting, visiting an arcade where we played 4-person Mario Kart and he killed us! Visited a few different parts of Shinjuku while learning a little bit about area. Highly recommend if you are thinking about it. Sam was our guide for us to explore the evening.

Fun / Engaging tour for all Tokyo visitors! - My husband and I spent our first night ever in Tokyo on this tour, and it was amazing! At the end of our week trip, we realized that we spent time on this tour doing things we wouldn’t have done/found on our own. We experienced a part of Tokyo like the locals and got a taste of “real Japan.” All the food stops were delicious, and the sake tasting was an enjoyable learning experience (for someone who didn’t know anything about sake). The arcade and photo booth part of the tour was also super fun! To add to all this, Kentaro was a fun and knowledgeable guide and made us feel like friends. We got our friends from home who were also visiting to go on this tour a few days later. So, if you’re reading this, just book it!!! I highly recommend this tour with Kentaro in Shinjuku! Thank you, Kentaro!

Well done Yosuke! - Yosuke is going to realize soon that he is WAY undercharging for the experience he offers. While he did have some issues with time management that meant we missed the last stop (we had too much fun at the arcade and lost track of time), he is personable, and knowledgeable. His customer service is excellent and I'd do this tour again in a heartbeat.

Party with the locals - We had a brilliant night out on the tiles with our guide Ken. Ken took us to small local restaurants and bars that we would never have tried ourselves. We really enjoyed making the pancakes and the saki tasting. The photo booth experience was surreal! Ken was entertaining and knowledgeable and ensured we had a good time.
