Suggested experience - Fantastic experince if you don't have a lot of time in Beijing. All was well orgnaize. The guide suggestions were perfect!

Great Wall of china in 5 hours return from Airport - What a great experience it was. The guide Herbie waited for me at Starbucks just outside the international arrivals. We both went to the car, driven by Mr. John and I found a very needed bottle of water, considering how hot the day was going to be. Herbie speaks fluent English and he gave me a little background of the Chinese economy, the villages around Beijing and of course about the Wall. We arrived quite early and there were very few people at 8:30am. I walked up the stairs and met him at gate 6. From there we descended toward gate 5, till we arrived to gate 4. From there I walked a bit longer by myself to take pictures and met Herbie back. He took some really good photos of me. I went to the tour by myself as my friend wasn’t allowed to leave the airport for Visa reasons. We walked back to the car part after 1.5 hour. We left the wall at 10:35 and got to the airport at 11:50. With plenty of time to go through security and passport control again. If you have a layover in Beijing, I strongly recommend you to use this company. They’ve been following my updates throughout the entire journey. They provided a professional service. Five star service.

Excellent Herbie as a guide - Great wall from the airport - Hello, I recommend taking them to visit the Great Wall of China. We landed at Beijing airport, and Herbie, our excellent guide, picked us up right on time near the Starbucks. We drove there, and we were the only ones. We took the cable car, took plenty of photos, and made memories. During the journey, Herbie told us the history of China and the Great Wall. Excellent service, thank you very much, Herbie!

Morning Trip to Great Wall with Herbie - What a wonderful use of a layover! Our guide Herbie, was accommodating and informative. Though our flight was a bit earlier than most, he adjusted the schedule for us to have more time and picked us up promptly at our hotel. Herbie took us to multiple places on the wall and gave us a lot of historical information. He is also a blooming photographer and managed to get perfect photos right after sunrise! This layover trip was perfect and even better than the reviews indicated. Make the most of your time, and request Herbie to make your time unforgettable.

Excellent - Did the Great Wall tour during our short stop over at Beijing airport. Found the join in group suystem excellent as sometimes the visa queues can be long. Booking was very easy at the desk on exit of the airport. Our guide was Johnson - he had good English, was very interesting, and gave us a god overview of the Great Wall and a little about Beijing. We hopped onto a bus with about 6 other. The company ensures we made it back to the airport so that we could make it for our flight. We spent about 1.5hrs at the Great Wall and it took about 1hr to drive there. We took the gondola up and the tomoban back down. Seeing the Great Wall is a bucket list trip and its fantastic to have this servcie available for this transiting through China.

Fabulous way to see the Great Wall on a Layover - Don’t you hate those awkward layovers of more than six or seven hours? Bad planning perhaps but also inevitable sometimes. Beijinglayovertour.com is an amazing company based at the airport who organise short half and full day trips from airport to airport to the key Beijing places to see. You can book on the day of the trip so no chance of late flights ruining plans. I had an amazing trip with Herbie our English speaking guide and a group of five strangers who he took the time to get to know and introduce to one another. Our trip to the wall was personal, informative, fun and almost team like. Wonderful experience with a great guide.

Beijing Layover Tour - Must Do! - After a few hiccups of trying to venture out in Beijing on the first leg of our trip, I suggested we book a tour for our layover in Beijing on our trip back home. By luck, we found Beijing Layover Tours and booked our tour on the Great Wall of China. It turned out to be a great experience! We were promptly greeted by Tony who quickly got us on the road. Suggested a different part of the Great Wall as our time constraints wouldn’t allow us to hike much of the wall if we went with the original plan. He was incredibly informative and taught us a lot of the history of the wall. The hike was great and the views were spectacular. He graciously took some photos for us. Will forever cherish the memories and looking for future tours when I return to China for a longer stay! Definitely recommend.

Best layover tour over ever W/ Herbie - From initial booking to completion of tour was amazing and well executed. The step by step directions for our Visa free visit to our prompt pick up by Herbie/driver made us feel very comfortable. Herbie got us to the great Wall early before all the buses full of tourists arrived which was an A++. He combined historical facts and embraced our tourist need to capture fun pics. Overall we spent 2 hours at the great Wall and We were able to take the skycable up and the slide down to save time. Herbie made our layover tour fun and well worth it, with a 1pm departure we were back at the airport with time to spare. I highly recommend!!
