Great walking tour - so much to see in such a small town - An excellent, well-paced and informative (and witty) tour of this really interesting town. We heard lots about it’s history and the lives of some of the inhabitants from Ólöf Yrr. Definitely worth booking this tour.

colorful houses and herring museum - It is the northernmost town in Iceland (1200 inhabitants) and has been the capital of herring fishing for a long time (in fact there is a Herring museum).
The marina is very lively and the neighborhood surrounding it has beautiful colorful houses.
