Additional Information

North Iceland boasts an array of stunning hiking trails, featuring breathtaking mountain and sea vistas. This region is much less frequented compared to the popular paths in the south, so we might not encounter anyone else during our journey. We could even discover areas so seldom explored that nature has overtaken the paths. For those seeking a genuine adventure, this is the place to be.

Fabulous hike of the troll peninsula - We had a fabulous, hiking tour of the troll peninsula with Olof. She shared the history of Iceland, her heritage, and all about the land we hiked for over six hours. The views and vistas were just amazing. Definitely work this hike into your itinerary when visiting the area. We will be back!

Excellent - We stayed at Sóti Summit for 3 nights in August and went hiking for 3 days. We highlythe recommend this place, the accommodation was very good and food equivalent to best restaurants in Reykjavík. There is also a nice swimming pool at site which is excellent after long hiking trips. Our guides were also very nice, full of information about the nature and history. Highly recommended by us.
