Highlights
  • Miradouro Santa Eufemia - Sanctuary of Santa Eufémia is one of the Sacred Sources of Water and offers an incredible view; here, we will connect with the Ancient Legends of Sintra. When you’re ready, we can do some relaxing and breathing exercises to attune to the Energetic Vibration of Sintra.
  • Rua da Fonte da Pipa - Fonte da Sabuga is where you can taste the water from one of Sintra’s main sources.
  • Sintra National Palace - From the top, we can view the National Palace of Sintra, an iconic palace with two large chimneys, and discuss the historical life of this royal residence.
    Tickets - 12€
  • Castelo dos Mouros - On the way to the Moorish Castle, we stop in front of Chalet Biester, one of Sintra’s iconic palaces, and then proceed to see the Moorish Castle. Built by the Moors, we can admire its emblematic walls atop the stunning mountain.
    Ticket - 12€
  • Park and National Palace of Pena - We stop on the mountain where we have a wonderful view of Pena Palace. Originally a pilgrimage site throughout various civilizations and centuries, it became the Red Monastery in the 16th century and the yellow Royal Palace, the summer residence of the last dynasty of kings in the 19th century. It integrates all the heritages and symbols of our nation in the Romantic expression of its time.
If you want to visit on a tour, I suggest the tour of the exterior parks that you can choose at the moment; the interior is always crowded, and you have to schedule the day before for 1:30 PM.
    Ticket Parks - 7.5€
    Ticket Palace & Parks - 14€
  • Quinta da Regaleira - Quinta da Regaleira is a unique palace, symbolic and mystical with the mysterious Initiatic Well. It’s an alchemic expression.
    Optional Visit 1h30m
    Ticket - 11€
  • Parque e Palacio de Monserrate - On the road to Monserrate, we will pass some attraction points where we make brief stops, like Palácio de Seteais, another of Sintra’s numerous beautiful fountains, and we stop to do the sightseeing tour of Palácio de Monserrate. Once again, the past history connects with the Romantic era of Sintra, where an English merchant built his beautiful summer residence, featuring amazing architecture and the beautiful gardens that characterize all these palaces of Sintra. This is the park and palace that I suggest visiting on a tour.
    Optional Visit.
    Ticket - 12€
Here we finish the palaces sightseeing and proceed to the wonderful natural landscapes where we connect with the water sources and the immense Atlantic Ocean.
  • Santuario da Peninha - On the way through the interior of Serra de Sintra to the Sanctuary of Peninha, we stop at another of Sintra’s fountains to taste more mineral water. The Sanctuary of Peninha offers an amazing view of the Atlantic Coast, from Lisbon, Cascais Guincho Coast, Cabo da Roca, and Sintra (when the microclimate allows). Signposted by different civilizations, from the prehistoric, Romans, Christians, and finally the last legacy of the Quinta da Regaleira builder. This sanctuary is one of the Sacred Sources of Sintra. Here we stop for a deep connection with our ancestral legacy, the megalithic experience.
  • Cabo da Roca - The westernmost point of Europe, Cabo da Roca is a unique spot with an expansive view of the Atlantic Ocean.
  • Praia das Macas - Returning to Sintra by the coast, we stop at Praia das Maçãs for another connection with the natural and cultural heritage, and possibly for a relaxing drink or early dinner. We will continue with another stop to admire the beautiful ocean view at Azenhas do Mar.
  • Azenhas do Mar - Azenhas do Mar is a picturesque village where we have a beautiful ocean view.
And finally, after an intense day full of amazing experiences, we return to Sintra to the pickup point.

Trip to the "end of the world" with Mystic Tours - We had a fabulous experience visiting Sintra, Cascais and the surrounding areas. Our kids had a full hands on experience and had all their questions answered in 2 languages! From special local treats, to natural fountains and preserved lands a few thousands of years old, we had a magical time! Would definitely recommend!!

Recommend without hesitation. - A superb afternoon with my lover and our guide Mariah. Visit Sintra and its surroundings via Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of the continent of Europe, with magnificent viewpoints, superb buildings and castles, beautiful green parks terraced with these water sources and mini lakes. A change of scenery assured and a guide at the top.

Private tour with Mariah - We went on a private tour with Mariah and she was amazing! We travelled with a small child so it was important for us to have a comfort as well as to see all the beautiful places around, so this tour in the car was exactly what we expected. We did a complete tour of Sintra and Cascais in one day. Mariah knows all about the Sintra region and will show you all the secret places that you normally wouldn’t even see. Great experience!
