Unique experience with a friendly and knowledgeable local guide - Thank you Maria for a wonderful tour! Being able to see Sintra and the surrounding regions with a local guide was a wonderful and unique experience. Maria was in contact with us prior to the day to help organise the tour and get the most out of the day. Highlights included a visit to Pena Palace (you do need to reserve tickets for this beforehand, be aware); delicious lunch at a lovely local tavern; and a stopover at Cabo da Roca. Thank you again!

360 views, local tips and great fun visiting Sintra - We had a fantastic day out in Sintra with Diogo in his lovely yellow jeep. The views were stunning and he took us to all the best stops along the way. He also recommended a seafood restaurant to us by the beach which was amazing too. I would highly recommend!

Fun day tour with Maria - Our day trip to Sintra was excellent! Maria was so friendly and funny and matched our humor perfectly. She was in contact with me a couple of days prior to the trip helping me to get our tickets and choose which locations to go to. During our tour she gave us some history as we drove around and answered all of our many questions. She took photos of us at little points of interest on the roadside. We also went to a local tile artist and a restaurant for lunch that was very good. I highly recommend Sintra Lovers for your touring needs. Maria will leave you educated and absolutely in stitches.

Visit to Sintra with Luis - I was in Sintra on Sunday 12 May 2024 with my colleague Roberto. We were lucky enough to meet Luis and thanks to him we spent a wonderful day. Upon arriving at Sintra station we were a little wary, because we were "assaulted" by many people offering us lifts and guided tours of the city. Luis approached us with grace, respected our times and indulged in our little "follies". Thanks to him we made the most of the little time available to visit the city, we saw breathtaking views, ate a "Secreto de porco" that we will not easily forget, discovered the country's specialties and above all we found a new friend in Portugal. Ask for him if you want to make your visit to a magical city like Sintra special!

Sintra Tour - Average Experience - As a family of four adults, our tour experience was mediocre. We were picked up in a small car with over 200,000 kilometers on it, and the guide often parked far from the palace entrances. With only an hour allocated for each palace or castle, we found ourselves rushed, especially during the busy season when we were only halfway through. Additionally, traffic jams in Sintra added at least 45 minutes to our journey. Overall, we found the tour guide to be average at best. Furthermore, my son and I felt pressured to leave a five-star review, likely due to pressure from the boss. Besides, the city of sintra does not have adequate infrastructure to support busy tourism.
