This is essential; the excursion traverses the standout locations of Sintra including the old town, Pena Palace, Moorish Castle, National Palace, Quinta da Regaleira, Seteais Palace, and Monserrate Palace. Continuing on, we trek through the vineyards of Colares, reaching Cabo da Roca, the coastal route of Cascais, Guincho, Boca do Inferno, and concludes in Cascais.
We deliver historical and cultural knowledge so that participants gain an education about the areas toured.
The expedition spans about 7 hours inclusive of pauses at 2 monument sites, as well as various views of the old town, Cabo da Roca, Boca do Inferno, and Cascais.
This expedition caters to intimate groups ranging from a single person to a group of 8.
Entrance charges for monuments and lunch expenses are not covered.
Collection and return service is possible from Sintra, Cascais, Oeiras, or Lisbon.

Amazing 3 days with Pedro - best guide we have ever had! - We were in Portugal for 12 days. The best 3 were the days we spent with Pedro. We started with an amazing all day tour of 2 palaces in the Sintra area followed by a visit to the coastal area near Cascais. Pedro speaks fluent English and is very knowledgeable of this area since he lives there. The highlight of the day was a late lunch at a beautiful seafood restaurant right on the Atlantic. We also did a second all day tour to a nature park and other cities near Lisbon. Our last tour was an all day journey from Porto where he picked us up from our cruise ship to Lisbon with stops in 4 beautiful cities. I cannot say enough about how considerate Pedro is. If we return to Portugal he would certainly be at the top of our list to help us have a memorable vacation

Cheers to Pena Palace - Pedro took us to many different locations in particular the Pena Palace. He was very knowledgeable and drove calmly. We had a great time and I highly recommend this trip.

Great day trip! - We loved our trip to Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais. Our guide was very punctual, friendly, and helpful. We made our way to Sintra in no time, and went to explore and shop it the quaint town on our own before heading to the Pena Palace. We got to see so much, the palace is a must, especially with such an experienced and knowledgeable guide! The experience was completely tailored to what we were interested in, and flexible, as we changed our mind about visiting a second site in Sintra. Cabo da Roca was spectacular, and we loved the beautiful seaside town of Cascais.
All in all, we had a wonderful day, highly recommend the experience!

Absolutely the best excursion in Portugal - Pedro was absolutely fantastic! Having a private tour was definitely the best way to see this area. We enjoyed the view of Cabo Da Roca and then Pedro took us to a nice little Cafe and showed us the Portuguese traditional treats to enjoy. He was so knowledgeable on the Pena Palace and toured us through the gardens and the little chaple to sing and hear our voices echo where the monks had gone to meditate. We then toured the Palace of Regalia which was so interesting. Pedro knew the history of the Initiation Well and all the symbols of the grounds. The best part of this trip was that Pedro picked us up from our hotel in Cascais. Most tours leave from lisbon but this was wonderful if you are staying in Cascais.

Wonderful guide. Beautiful sights. Awesome stories. - Our guide Pedro was friendly and knowledgeable. He told us a lot of stories about the symbolism in Pena Palace and shared insights into the gardens there. We also went to Quinta da Regaleira where he told us about the man who built the tunnels and wells on the property as well as the palace. Lots of fascinating legends!
I wasn't feeling well and Pedro took care to ask how I was doing. He was very kind

Pedro was a FANTASTIC guide - Pedro was a fantastic guide and brought Sintra alive for us. His description and history of each of the monuments was amazing and he held our attention all through the tour. Thank you, once again, Pedro, for the memorable visit to Sintra.

Cannot do better than Sintra and Cascais with Pedro as host! - Pedro is a terrific guide. He knows all the best routes, knows the sites very well, and shares lots of useful and fun info. He’s a polite and an absolute professional host and is focused on your trip being enjoyable. We were thoroughly impressed with his tour. We immensely enjoyed our time and would highly recommend this tour especially with Pedro as the host. It was the highlight of our time in Portugal!
