The castle and coastline - Manuel was a very knowledge guide and saved us hours in que. I recommend this tour highly. Sintra is a great town with a great Italian restaurant (Pizzaria Travessa Rica). The outside of the castle is tour you might consider if you have ever been inside a castle.

A magical visit to Sintra, with incredible scenery and stories - We took a private tour, which allowed us to focus all our available time on Sintra and many of its tourist attractions: in addition to the village, we visited Palácio da Pena, Quinta da Regaleira and also the incredible Castelo dos Mouros. Everything went very well with the help of the driver and guide Orlando: he took care at all times to accommodate our demands (we had elderly people in the group who ended up preferring not to walk so much), in addition to enriching our tour with details and stories he shared about Sintra, the Palácio da Pena and Quinta da Regaleira (this one in particular!), as well as the Castelo dos Mouros. Even though we did the tour on a cold day with little rain, we were able to fully enjoy the itinerary prepared, on time and without rushing. I recommend the visit, in addition to the services of the Celina Tours team. And if your guide is Orlando, be sure to ask him for literary recommendations!

Amazing, amazing day - We had the absolute pleasure of touring with Manuel da Silva Lopes through Sintra, Cascais, many palaces, small villages and their markets. We had told him we were mostly interested in seeing and doing what the locals see, do, and eat. He took us to beautiful sights in a fishing village and to a farmers market where we bought amazing wine, cheese, and olives. He gave us great information, history, and stories that we surely wouldn’t have received from any other tour. This tour was totally personalized and we got to explore a part of Portugal we would’ve probably never known about! By far our favorite day throughout our trip. Highly, highly recommend!

Sintra! - Phillip was a very good host for this tour. Lots of commentary on the sights in all the locations. I was a long day, closer to 12 hours than the 8-9 suggested

Sensational Sintra - Manuel was so much fun with his honesty and humor. He shared many facts about the history of the Palace of Pena and the area of Sintra in general. As I was traveling solo, it was obviously up to me what I wanted to visit. Manuel was highly responsive to and patient with my requests throughout the whole day. As he speaks several languages, it was a bonus for me to listen to and speak in French and English. Manuel made it feel as though I was spending the day with a longtime friend.

Missing one site - We didn’t go to Quinta Regaleira because we had lunch in Sintra. (We didn’t even know that having lunch means to give up the tour to Quinta Regaleira.) Otherwise, the tour can be nice.

Beautiful Sites and would have been better if…. - The tour would have been a better experience if there was more information about where we were going, how long we were staying and what to expect. Due to the ticket slots, we had limited time at Sintra and it felt rushed. It didn’t help that the process for queuing and ticketing was confusing and disorganized ( not the tours fault of course!). We also expected an actual guided tour to accompany us rather than drop us off ( perhaps I didn’t read the fine print). And it was a long day, and suggest tour guides ask and offer periodically rest room stops and beverages. We had a person in the group with limited mobility and the tour guide didn’t specify where the restrooms were and we we all left on our own to figure it out. We did see some beautiful sites and appreciated being driven as it would have been challenging to do this on our own. Overall, glad we had this experience but would only recommend if there were more improvements in the customer experience.
