- Vehicles: Our vehicles are cleaned and disinfected before each service and at the end of the day, daily, with the appropriate products in accordance with the cleaning protocol covid-19.
- Driver/Guide: The driver complies with the rules of cleanliness and hygiene. The driver will wear a mask and must maintain the necessary distance according to the protocol. The health conditions of the driver will be assessed frequently.
- Protection: In our vehicles, alcohol gel and face masks will always be available free of charge, if customers need it. The driver will advise the use of a mask and hand cleaning with mandatory alcohol gel after all stops, before re-entering the vehicle.

Incredible tour - Jose out did himself - We had an amazing day doing a private tour with Jose. He knew so much about the area and was so fun to spend the day with.
He took us to the most amazing lunch place and was so flexible and patient with his time.
He went above and beyond for us. We had our 2 year old with us and he arranged a baby seat for the van as well as a baby carrier for the day from his daughter. We would not have been able to do the entire day without it.

Best guided tour ever... - Jose is a great guide full of humor and a lot of knowledge! We enjoyed the day tour. We could indicate how long we needed at the sights. It was well organised. Jose was very good at assessing what we liked and knew exactly where to take us. The Pena Palace is absolutely amazing, the highlight of the trip. Learned a lot about history thanks to Jose. Beautiful surroundings and a fun guide, we laughed so much! Obrigada Jose ate a proxima!

Great tour! Recommended - José was a very good guide, very knowledgeable and had lots of energy and stories! He picked us up at 8am, was right on time and sent tickets beforehand. The car was very comfortable for 4 people. We did a lot - Castle of the Moors, Peña Palace, Quinta Regelaira & Sintra town (Sintra Palace). He had great communication skills (English was fantastic), and managed our expectations well. We were never rushed. In Sintra, he showed us a great pastry shop (Piquita) and a liquor shop where we had ginjinha, local cherry liquer (Bar do Binho). Great tour as he was super flexible and we could choose what we wanted to see.

Great experience with José! - We had a great time with José on the Sintra monuments tour. He was knowledgeable and kept us entertained all day. Given the huge crowds and non-existent parking in Sintra, it was very nice to have someone to show us around and generally make the day easy. He even had a great suggestion for an off the beaten path place for lunch.
The tour itself was exactly what I was looking for in Sintra, visiting the four main tourist attractions and José was able to add valuable insight to each location. I would not hesitate to book with him again!
One note on Lisbon on Wheels however-we had been trying to get in touch with them for a week leading up to our tour to confirm, get guide details, etc. and they were non-responsive until the night before. We even tried calling them but their number was not active. It all ended up working out, but added some unneeded stress to the experience.

Like a tour with a good friend - Jose is an outstanding guide. Knowledgable, friendly, funny, and most of all flexible and helpful. This was a private all day tour, and he was able to improvise and provide us with the tour we wanted. He also appeared to know everyone and was well liked. For example, when it started to rain, he was able to secure a beautiful table inside a crowded restaurant because he knew the owner. He showed us current real estate developments off the traditional sightseeing tours. He explained history and culture in a fun way. His pride in, and enthusiasm for, what he does made the day special. By the end of the tour, I felt like we had seen Sintra with a friend who lives there and was excited to show us around.

So accommodating to a challenging situation and José was such a great guide! - Lisbon on Wheels was super accommodating after we had to delay the start of our trip. They adjusted the time and pick up point, and also accommodated our request for Jose as our guide. Jose was a fabulous guide, definitely knew his stuff about all things Sintra, was super friendly and hilariously funny, and very sweet. He went over and above when he learned what parts of our trip we had to skip due to our delayed arrival in Lisbon. He also helped make maximum use of our time by having the ability to skip the lines - including at the Pasteis de Belem. He definitely knows all the right people and places. Thank you Jose! We will see you again!!

Jose is a Rock Star tour guide - Jose was an interesting character who kept us entertained & laughing all day. He made sure we were comfortable all day. He went above & beyond in his explanations of Pena palace & Regaleira . He also made sure we had a relaxing lunch in Sintra.

The only smart way to see Sintra - Our guide José was absolutely amazing! The tour was perfectly planned from the start to the end, and still the atmosphere was relaxed and chill. José knew so much about the monuments and the history, and told the stories so that they were interesting. It was almost a mission impossible to see the 4 monuments and Cabo da Roca in just one day, but with genious planning and knowlidge about how the crowds move and where to park, José made it possible. The restaurant he suggested for lunch was grat! I really do recommend you book a private tour if you want to see Sintra on a daytrip. The day was great and memorable and we enjoyed every minute, but I can imagine it could have felt too hard without our exellent guide and the meticulous plan.

4 sites in one day - José was both knowledgeable and entertaining. He had a vast knowledge of Portugese history and insight into the best methods of entering and leaving the monuments we visited today. He took us to an authentic reasonably priced portuguese restaurant. As a private tour, we had great flexibility on what we could do. Also he made very efficient use of our time. By walking a few 100 steps, we could do both Pena Palace and the Moorish castle.

Sintra -Special! - Jose, out operator/tour guide, was a thorough professional. His knowledge of the area, its history and his superb English made the trip truly memorable.
Additionally, his sense of humor and enthusiasm added that extra special touch. Highly highly recommend him!
