Embark on a delightful journey through Sintra, encompassing the city’s remarkable landmarks, and embracing its coastal and rural surroundings.
Journey on the antique tramway to your initial pit stop, the quaint hamlet of Colares. Here, discover one of the oldest vineyards in the country and gain insights about the long-standing viniculture practices of Portugal. (Unavailable on Sundays)
Furthermore, continue with a coastal detour to your subsequent stop - a charming, whitewashed village perched atop cliffs, offering views of the turbulent Atlantic surf. Later, marvel at the additional stunning beaches spanning the shoreline, before halting for a meal in a homely restaurant in Sintra (expenses not covered).
Post luncheon, proceed towards the farthest western tip of mainland Europe, Cabo da Roca, prior to visiting the fantasy-like Pena Palace, where you are welcome to craft your unique fairytale. (entry ticket is extra)
Lastly, the decision on where to conclude the expedition rests with you - be it the railway station, or the tour can end at Quinta da Regaleira, a site acclaimed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Perfect day in Sintra & “The End of The World” - Absolutely great trip to Sintra with Luis. He was very kind, knowledgeable, and he went above and beyond to help us see everything we wanted. He was also a joy to be around and spend the day with. Very highly recommended!!!

Awesome experience! - We had an incredible experience with Tomás in Sintra. The tour was completely tailored to our preferences, making it the highlight of my parents' trip to Portugal. Highly recommended - Our group of 14 had an outstanding experience with Wondervan during our tour from Lisbon to Sintra with stops in Queluz. Wonderful tour to Sintra sites and Cascais! - Alex and John picked us up at our apartment and took us to Sintra. Alex was very friendly and gave us a lot of information and patiently answered our questions.. our bus was very good.. and he made our tour one of the best ones we have done so far.
We visited Sintra- Pena palace, Quinta da Regelaria ( which was a last minute addition) and then Cabo da Roca.. and finally he dropped us off at Cascais. We were happy to be able to do so many things and not be rushed!

Sintra and Coastal Areas - Wonder Van provided an amazing tour experience of Sintra and the coastal areas. Our tour guide Alex was very knowledgeable and accommodating during our trip. We really enjoyed learning the history of the different areas like the Sintra Castle and surrounding areas. Would recommend Wonder Vans and Alex as your tour guide.

Best money spent on this trip so far! - Alex was amazing, knowledgeable, funny and never stopped talking! We heard about him specifically from my friend who heard about him from his friend. He rearranged his schedule for us. He took us everywhere and even though he's been doing this for many years it was not routine/scripted, he was enthusiastic in all his stories and we talked about a lot of other things too. I really enjoyed his love for sharing the history and beauty of his country. I will definitely be recommending Alex to everyone and when I come back next time, I'm booking him again for a different tour!

Tour with Tomas Silva - We had a wonderful day with Tomas Silva in Sintra and some coastal sites. He was an excellent guide with a great deal of local and historical information along with showing us some wonderful areas near his home town and excellent choice of a small town Portuguese restaurant that amazing local food you wouldn’t find in any tourist restaurant. We would highly recommend Tomas for any tour in the Lisboa area and will use him again when we return.

Amazing Tour of Sintra and the Coast - One of the best tours we have taken. Tomas Silva not only gave a great detailed overview of the area and spots we visited, but he also shared his local knowledge with us which was much appreciated. Tomas took us to a “local” Portuguese restaurant for lunch and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. He is very knowledgeable, energetic, and genuine. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed our time with Tomas - highly recommend booking a tour with this company!
