One of the best tours we... - One of the best tours we have taken! Bruno was such a great guide, and we really feel like we got an experience we could never have planned ourselves. We really appreciated his knowledge and flexibility about the things we wanted to see throughout the day, as well as his recommendations for things to see on the tour and during our overall visit.

Wonderful Tour, Excellent Tour Guide - Our tour guide was Bruno. He was very personable and was a wealth of knowledge. He kept us informed about every aspect of our tour, what we were seeing and even things we did not see just to keep things in context. He was very flexible and accommodating, allowing us to adjust stops along the way, which was very refreshing. And he has a great sense of humor. I highly recommend Bruno.

Truly an Amazing Day!!! - Bruno brought us on an awesome experience and provided cultural insights and his passion for this beautiful area of Sintra and Cascais. We seen brilliant palaces and castles, gorgeous views and landscapes up on peaks that will be memorable forever. We optioned to have a traditional grilled lunch that was authentic to the culture and absolutely delicious followed by a cafe and ginjinha. Then we headed to the coast and were treated to the beauty of the sand, an ocean side and quaint town. Great host and awesome day!!!

Fun day out with Bruno! - We had an excellent tour with Bruno Fernandez (not the Man Utd captain!) who collected us from our hotel. Right from the start, he was feeding us interesting facts and information, and we loved hearing all about his family origins. Bruno has lived in Sintra most of his life and he knows it inside out, so he was the perfect person to guide our decision making as to which palaces, gardens or other sites we should visit during the day - you need a couple of days at least to see everything. We collected another lady traveller from Cascais and set off to Sintra. I really wanted to see the Quinta da Regaleria - especially the famous well - so we went there first. Super place/gardens and the well did not disappoint. Bruno knew just where to park during the day so that we could get the best vantage point for photos, and his historical knowledge was huge! Our fellow traveller wanted to go inside the Pena Palace whereas we were happy to take in the views from the terraces and the gardens (though these are huge and you’d need longer than the 45mins we had to do them justice). Bruno helped us get the correct tickets and arranged to pick us up later at different points. In the meantime, he had visited a bakery in the village to buy us some of the delicious Sintra pastries, which we enjoyed back in the car! He had given us options for lunch, which we discussed, and went for the local “cyclist” cafe in a little village, which served a two course lunch with local wine for 12 euros! What an experience, and such good value for good, simple but tasty cooking and eating on benches with local workmen. Bruno also took us to see the Cabo da Roca (lots of coach parties!) and the Boca do Inferno, before heading back to Cascais to drop off the other lady. He kindly drove us back to our hotel via the coast road, giving us a more interesting journey than being stuck in crazy traffic on the main route. We would recommend this tour, especially with Bruno, who was such a kind, helpful, knowledgeable, patient and amusing guide. The tour was very flexible and perfect for our needs, without too much uphill walking! Thanks Bruno - good to see your footie team (Arsenal) are still doing well! Best wishes to you.
