We start at the heart of our Hometown – navigating inside the mountain and through the narrow streets of Sintra! Here you will get chance to see - Palacio e Parque Biester - Running away from the mass tourism that currently exists in Sintra’s top attractions (Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira for exemple) we visit this stunning property, that has just opened gates for visitores (it was a private property for more than 100 years, you will be the first visitores). A fascinating building with na imense garden (park), a cultural labyrinth with lot’s misteries and secrets to discover.
Biester Palace & Park, the film set from Johny Depp’s “Ninth Gate” THE FILM SET FOR JOHNNY DEPP’S ‘NINTH GATE’ and one of Luigi Manini creations is a landmark for Sintra, and is one of the first buildings and finest examples of chalets of its kind. Surronding this piece of revivalist architectur – a vast garden including waterfalls, view points (with the best views of all of Sintra’s attractions) , pieces of art (famouse Bordalo’s tiles) caves and secret chambers!

- Seteais - Seteais Palace where we will stop for the best Pena Palace views and to fill you up with historical and cultural information about the sights and surrondings
- Centro Historico de Sintra - venturing through Sintra Forest and ancient paths! At the historical center, apart from the traditional cobble narrow streets you will be able to catch sight of all the green surroundings, iconic Palaces and World Heritage properties
- Quinta da Regaleira - we will pass by Quinta da Regaleira (don’t worry, when the Tour ends you may come back for a visit, we can assist you with the tickets so you avoid lines and give you all the information needed)
- Fonte da Sabuga - Oh and bring an empty bottle of water to refill at one of the many centenary fountains with the best fresh Sintra water directly from the mountain.
- Sintra National Palace - Sintra’s National Palace and its historical structure providing a panoramic view of the distant landscapes!

Join a native resident for an exciting Sintra exploration, taking in all the main attractions and sprinkling in a dollop of fun and thrill along the way!
Once everyone gets acquainted with the e-bikes and the necessary instructions are doled out, our pedal-powered adventure gets underway.
Our first stop brings us to Biester Palace & Park where many enigmatic stories and undisclosed secrets await to be divulged during our guided tour.
Subsequent to this breathtaking venue, we pedal by Quinta da Regaleira and arrive at Seteais Palace, offering the best sightings of Pena Palace.
Fear not the fatigue or heavy pedaling, the e-bikes have got your back!
We make our way back to the heart of historical Sintra, and toast to the great day with a local wine tasting at a vineyard. We wrap it up at our original meeting spot, concluding this half-day (though incredibly rich and exhilarating) journey filled with adventure and merriment!
We’re excited to embark on this Sintra cycling odyssey with you!

We were able to bike to several places and get local recommendations. - Andres was an amazing tour guide. We got to see so much of Sintra and he was extremely knowledgeable. We got to bike to some very cool places and local.

An absulute 'must do' tour with Tomas! - We had an amazing private e-bike tour with Tomas. Five stars *****. This was the highlight of our 8 days in Lisbon and the surrounding areas. It was so much fun, the bikes are easy to use and make light work of those hills! We explored Sintra and then the coast with Tomas, and his local input and knowledge made it a much more authentic experience than just wandering through the beautiful, but over-populated main attractions of Sintra. Thank you Tomas!

Best & most beautiful e-bike tour - This was the most amazing and fun tour and i cannot recommend it more highly as we saw all of the wonderful monuments Sintra had to offer with a very friendly and informative guide Tomas. It was such fun and so beautiful and the bikes were excellent quality and easy to operate. Tomas was so kind and helpful and I think this has been an absolute highlight of our trip. If you’re coming to Sintra make sure you book this tour.

E-bike in Sintra - Tomas spoke excellent English and was very knowledgable about the local area and history. He pitched his talk really well and didn’t go overboard on the history. He made sure we had plenty of opps to get a drink and be in the shade. The bikes are very powerful and make it easy to go up the steep hills in Sinatra! It was a great tour and I would really recommend this company.

E-bike Sintra - What a fabulous day with Tomás Silva on the inaugural fat tire e-bike tour of Sintra. Tomás was as excited as we were to venture into secret parts of the Biester Palace. He navigated us safely on the cobblestone streets of Sintra and treated us to a lifetime of Portuguese history in bite-sized portions.

Great tour & excellent customer service - Our guide, Alex, was very informative and friendly! We greatly enjoyed our tour and learning about some of Portugal’s history. He was flexible with our requests/preferences and went above and beyond to make sure we had a personalized experience. We will highly recommend this tour to everyone we can!

After about a half hour,... - After about a half hour, we had only ridden maybe half a mile due to the other companions who had trouble using the bike which took time and energy away from the event. I ended up leaving the tour early so we could do our own walking event. Unfortunate that this happened but still a beautiful area to view.

Dangerous tour -- do not go on it! - I am compelled to write a bad review because of the dangers of this tour. My father and I tried to go on this tour, but had to stop early on because the bikes are outdated and broken. For two bikes the manual gears didn't work properly and the other bike the electric accelerator didn't work. We were too far away from the starting point to change bikes. I've ridden other bikes that are in much better condition, lighter with more power, so assuming these are either old or inexpensive models. Furthermore, they barely give any instruction on how to use the bike, but instead you start on a very busy street going up a hill. We were on the tour with two women, who also stopped because of how dangerous it was. When I complained, they said they would review the situation and decide whether to give me a refund. When I was complaining, they asked how old my Dad was (he's in his 70s). My father is perfectly capable of riding a bike that is working and instead of focusing on that, they were looking for excuses. I've followed up on the evaluation and refund, but no response.
I am researching how to report this company to a Portuguese government agency regarding tourist safety.
