- Park and National Palace of Pena - One of the most well-known attractions in Sintra and perhaps in Portugal. Sitting at the top of the Sintra Hills, it’s privileged location represents the monarchy at it’s high in Portugal. A magnificient and exuberant Palace stands in the middle of a 85 hectares (210 acres) natural park, considered by UNESCO a World Heritage Site.
Visiting inside is optional.
The visit does not include the guide on the inside of the monument.

Rest assured, your guide will handle the day’s schedule, tailoring the tour to meet your group’s preferences. From popular viewpoints to hidden spots, our guide has it all planned out.
To have ample time to appreciate the city’s ambience, it’s best to limit your interior monument visits to one during this tour.
Your guide, a local with over 5 years’ experience, Nuno will introduce you to the history of the sights, the area’s culture and traditions. As you journey through the day, you’ll feel like an original inhabitant of Sintra.

Touring Sintra with Nuno - We had an amazing time touring Sintra with Nuno! He was a wealth of knowledge about both Sintra and Portugal. We learned a lot on our tour with him. There isn’t any topic he wasn’t well versed in!

Best way to experience Sintra in 4-6 Hours! - This was an incredible private tour! Nano was a kind, patient, knowledgeable and passionate tour guide. We learned so much from him and it was amazing to be able to be flexible with the stopping points and make decisions as we went along. I can’t imagine doing this as part of a big guided group or trying to navigate this on our own. We really only had 4-6 hours available on Saturday and Nano ensured we made the most of our time

Wonderful Experience - excellent tour. this was the most knowledgeable tour guide i have had in all my travels. he was on time and answered any questions we had. the van was extremely comfortable. the smaller group made the tour more personal. i would recommend this tour to anyone. one of the best tours i have had in all my travels

Great way to see the countryside outside of Lisbon - Nuno was a great guide, very knowledgable and just an all-round nice guy. He was good to ask what we wanted to do (see everything, or spend more time at places we really wanted to see). Learned a lot about the area, can't wait to stay around Sintra on our next trip. He's a great guide and I'd highly recommend this excursion

Very knowledgeable guide - Our guide Nuno was extremely knowledgeable about the Sintra area as well as the coastal areas of Colars and Cabo de Rocha. He explained about the micro climate in this area, the estates of the Sintra area, the industry that supports the area, history of the Portugal government, the Portugal flag, the earthquake of 1755 and the revolution that occurred in 1974.

Sintra Tour - Our driver was excellent. His knowledge of the history of Sintra was amazing. We got to see parts of Sintra that we would not have normally seen if we were on our own. I highly recommend using Joao, our tour guide to anyone wanting to tour Sintra.
