This tour is worth the price! - Miguel, our guide from Van Go Tourism, was awesome! He knew so much about everything in Sintra and what I was really interested in were the Templars and he knew all about them and how they related to the Quinta da Regaleria, which is the reason I wanted to take this tour. Also seeing the Palace of Pena was really interesting too. He recommended a nice place for us to have lunch in the town of Sintra and the food there was delicious! But be prepared for a lot of walking for this tour! Having the pickup/drop off and tickets included made the day stress free!

Sintra Private tour - This was such an amazing tour. Simone was an awesome guide. Her English was amazing and she was very knowledgeable. The whole trip was perfectly planned and flawless. We also seemed to luck out and didn’t have much waiting in lines. Simone arrived promptly at our hotel to pick us up, she expertly navigated the streets while providing us with lots of interesting information. She was very good at explaining the history of where we were going and we had enough time in each place. Highly, highly recommend. Definitely worth the money.

Must see tour to Sintra - One of the must do tours for our family was a trip to Sintra. We booked through Van Go Tours and we were assigned to Miguel. From the very start, you could see the great knowledge and pride that Miguel had regarding the tour and Portuguese history. Having the tickets prepaid allowed us to spend more time at each attraction and having him accompany us allowed us the opportunity to learn so much more about each site versus just walking through and following the crowd. Miguel was always timely for each pick up and tailored the tour to what we wanted to see and learn (as much or as little questions that we wanted to ask). There are so many hidden signs in the buildings, but Miguel pointed them out and explained their meanings. Miguel is an outstanding ambassador for Van Go and I would recommend him to anyone booking a private tour. The Sintra tour was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal!

Dedicated Experience Worth Every Penny - Miquel, a history major, was worth the private and dedicated experience! He had a wealth of knowledge which he relayed in a story-like way that felt both immersive and insightful. He was not only personable but incredibly organized with the schedule, timing, and tickets - and equipped with ample amounts of water throughout the entire day! He was an amazing tour guide and made the day in Sintra memorable and fantastic!

A great way to spend your day in Sintra - Simone was super knowledgeable, gave excellent recommendations and made sure we were well taken care of. A tour is the best way to see the city of Sintra and we loved being picked up right at our hotel, having someone who knew exactly where to go and how to navigate the sites was a huge bonus. Simone’s excitement for history made learning fun and interesting that you’re not able to get from just reading a plaque. She pointed out and explained many things that you simply wouldn’t know without a guided tour.

Great trip to Sintra - Our private tour with Miguel, to Sintra, was amazing! We were picked up and dropped off at our apartment in Lisbon. We didn’t have to worry with driving, parking, etc. Miguel was so knowledgeable and passionate about this tour. We learned so much! We didn’t wait in any lines, as others were. It was fun, educational and hassle free. I would highly recommend this tour.

Best tour - This was the perfect tour. Nuno Was our tour guide who picked us from our apartment on time. He very knowledgeable about all places we visited and very personable yet professional. We truly enjoyed our time in Sinatra and highly recommend this private tour. We had ample amount of time in each location, never felt rushed. Sinatra is a must visit and ask for Nuno. The Mercedes van was very comfortable, bottle water available for passengers and he treated us to some delicious local pastries, recommended lovely restaurant with great food for lunch in city center( not a touristy spot). Spectacular Sintra - What a fantastic day we had with Miguel. He was so knowledgeable and prepared. Sintra is spectacular and I wouldn’t want to navigate it on my own. A private tour is the perfect way to experience it all.
